diclaz just left me with days of memory loss every time. And every time, I had some and found none left a week later. I still don't remember the first couple of weeks of this year. Hope you do better....

You're right I don't know you. I was just pointing out that poker is different to generic gambling as it involves a lot of skill, and some people are good enough at it to make a living out of it. (Not me, I just play for fun ;) )
 
Ah -- I thought your ;) was mocking those who thought they could make money playing poker. My bad.

That's what I was thinking; there would be more of a temptation to play on with a low-value hand because it's for not much more than shits and giggles. Even two disparate high-value cards stand a better than 1 in 3 chance of pairing up on the flop (and if suited, you can dream about a flush), and a pair stands almost one chance in 8 of upgrading to a prial; so I'd intuitively expect showdowns to be won regularly with hands like a pair of nines. Hope-driven play rather than fear-driven, almost.

I guess sudden raises would scare people out of the game, so you'd benefit from position: ideally you want to bet late with a good hand, so there's already more in the pot even if nobody else stays in -- or else you can keep nudging it gently up, until you end up going head-to-head with an opponent who thinks they have something.

yeah i found that just 4 tanks on the cliff tops was enough to wipe out the nearest zerg base in the valley (after looking it up online :o) and it was a peace of piss from there on. The next mission is an absolute bastard though. 2 Massive Terran armies about 2/3 bigger than mine, i reckon i can tank bomb the blue scvs out of eexistence from the cliff tops again, and halt their means of production. If that doesnt work im looking up the tips and cheats again lol

Starcraft 2 was out recently apparently. Have you tried it ? I will probably look out for it.
