Still it was only one girl who got on her high horse about sickies, for many years i didnt take any, whereas i saw most other people using them as some additional annual entitlement. I wasnt getting any higher scores for commitment and attendance than them in my appraisals so it was "FUCK THEM" from then on.

Haha, I didn't say that. I just said "can I take a days holiday?" and they said "Yes". Jackpot.

I can't come in because the neighbour was having a party ahahah, that's a good one. You should just lie anyway in cases like that. I have a migraine sounds better than the neighbour was partying.

Yea i used to use that one now and again. one of the best sick excuses. "Had the shits all night, stomach hurts, still got the shites. wont be in today. okay cheers bye"

Then dance around chuffed cos i'd the day off. or go back to bed to sleep off a belter of a comedown/hangover. or both

Afternoon folks,

Yeah. I used the shits excuse at Uni a couple of times for missed Seminars. Nobody questions that one - got the Doctor to sign off on a note... no questions asked. :D

Been sorting out all my arrangements for Sonisphere this morning, it's 100% official. :)
 
Afternoon all <3

Fucking lovely day today. Not quite enough to get me laying outside but the back door is open n letting a draft through the kitchen into the living room so that'll do. Great day yest. Woke up after FA Cup Final BBQ having drunk til about 5am, spliff, sleep, 50mg 5-MeO-DALT each, takeaway, sleep.

I'm panicking about work a bit now but I just knocked out 1000 words on James Joyce and Orwell, out of 3000 words, so maybe it'll be ok. Sadly I also have a crate of beer.
 
I'm working the graveyard shift this week, as I have to do some upgrades to public-facing servers which involve taking them offline for awhile; so it hasta be done when nobody is wanting to log in or anything. It's a once every 18 months to 2 years job, there are only two people in the company who can do it and the other person did it last time .....

Still. Working 03:00 to 11:00 has its upsides, like being around in the afternoons. Currently taking advantage of some free electricity to get a huge pile of laundry done .....

Less kewl is the shitey postal service. Was getting deliveries at lunchtime some days last week (usually come 7-9am) and they've had days to deliver me Goodies and yet I remain Goodieless. Irked. I really shouldn't be needing energy drinks to stay awake today. That was not the plan. Other items were partially medicinal (well, one was) but probably won't be needed for medicinal purposes now so can just use it for fukked purposes instead if it ever arrives. It's as close to a silver lining as I'm seeing so far :!

Also go free electricity, go! I'm dossing til gf comes to help me tidy my room we somehow turned into a hovel and then I dunno. Chill in the garden if still warm. Was out til 10 or 11 the other night without freezing just smoking and drinking. Maybe dislike summer less than I thought,
