Gibberings CLXL -- muuuuuuust haaaaaaave choooooocolaaaaate!

I never made it to PP this time (been before, place with the finest pharmacies in the world) but no, Jude gave up his bar in PP and now works on, erm, men's things, engineering, welding etc.

<3 Cambodia (and it's relaxed view of drugs)

Was it nice? Did you try guinea pig too?

I couldn't stomach insects in Asia - it was the smell, gave me the boak.

Off to read Slash, the autobiography. Later.

Larch welcome to Bluelight.

Evey

Thanks Eveyvibe, a decent if somewhat harrowing and rock-cliched read that. The time he speedballs and ends up running around a golf resort cut, bleeding and starkers is a hoot. Goes something like that anyway.. Been awhile.

Hi SHM... Was jude still running a bar in Phnom Penh? I ask as spent a fair few good nights drinking there last year and ended up seeing that chap in the "Show us yourself" thread.. Small world.

Apologises if sounds creepy.. A lurkers bane I guess.

You're an observant lurker.

Apart from that bit about me secretly harbouring a heart of gold..

I'm horrified :O

Beaver was very woody for some reason. I was in Chile just off Tierra del Fuego, which is overrun with the fuckers. They breed like....beavers. More people should eat beaver (for those who like to selectively quote me)

No, guinea pig (in Peru, common) was too guinea-pig looking if you get my drift. You know what a squashed frog looks like? That's your guinea-pig too. I prefer my meat less realistic looking. Coz I'm a carnivorous cunt obviously.

Ah cool, thanks - all the best to that man then.

Yes, the pharmacies, what a wonderful setup!

@kate - it wasn't so much the insects that made us queasy.. It was the miscellaneous soups bubbling over a flip flop-fed fire at the side of the street.

What a wonderful place though, must revisit sometime soon.

Definitely a "surely not.." moment. It's a strange feeling when the interwebz and day-to-day living collide.

You guys talking about traveling is giving me the super excitement of my first holiday and to way more. I keep telling the parents I'm not coming home hahaha.

Evening Larch :)

You guys talking about traveling is giving me the super excitement of my first holiday and to way more. I keep telling the parents I'm not coming home hahaha.

Tell us all about it, when where what etc etc - what are you looking forward to the most?

Evening to everyone and welcome to EADD, Mr Larch. :)

I also lurked Bluelight for a year before I signed up. So by the time I started nervously posting, I felt like I knew everyone's stories already.

I feel like an expectant grannie here. My beautiful 2nd cousin is about to pop a baba and lives in rural south west Scotland having moved up from London recently..... She's of ages with my boys , and grew up with them, so I'm super excited as from tonight until the 30th it could happen. I'm being an absolute FB troll :o

Practising for me next. Doubt I'll get to be the birthing partner of any of my lot. Old son is in the frame with Ugandan adorable gf.

Gone all wrong in the head me 8(
