Widen my taste in music??! Nah I think I'll just open a club that only plays Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Nine Inch Nails and Eminem and start raking in the money ;) My music taste isn't so bad, I do listen to quite a lot of different stuff but I agree I probably do need to expand my horizons a bit :P I've got plenty of time to do that though eh? :P And yeah I can tolerate any music if I'm fucked enough, not really about the music for me so much I just like socialising.

Limp Bizkit lol. Aren't you a bit for young to be into them? I mind going to a Limp Bizkit gig when I was 16 (13 years ago 8o). I thought the only people who liked Limp Bizkit now were folk like me who find it a slightly funny piece of nostalgia. Their cover of Faith is a topper right enough, I played it at a house party just a few weeks ago.

I've actually seen NiN, not a fan at all. Saw Eminem a few times as well. Never seen Slipknot, I only ever liked Wait & Bleed.

No racism was to be had, I used the word nigger for the purpose of hyperbole, and I am unrepentant. The man could have been whiter than the Daz doorstep challenge and I would have used the same word. It just so happens that the two really famous blind people happen to be black.

*insert tedious argument about reclaimed language

I don't understand what you mean tbh. You just randomly called Stevie Wonder a nigger, I don't really see how that was hyperbole. Why would you have used that word if he was white? That would have been even more odd. Bizarre.

Sounds like the effect MDMA started to have on me once I'd abused it a little too much. And this was in about 2003, long before the synth conspiracy madness.

Don't think it has anything whatsoever to do with safrole, and a lot more to do with getting older / losing the 'magic' / not taking enough time out to recover.

Ann Shulgin would no doubt agree.

Your talking shite. Its funny how all these people are 'loosing the magic' around the same time. Reading this forum pre 2005 there would be a lot less 'loosing the magic' talk. Dutch super pills my arse. 200mg+ My arse.

You fackin wat m8?!?! I saw NIN a few weeks ago, genius. Easily my favourite band. I saw Eminem last year and am again next month, saw Slipknot in 2011. Both excellent <3 You're missing out with Slipknot, embrace your inner emo more I say. Have seen Limp Bizkit 3 times now, liked them since I was about 14 (few weeks ago yeah), don't understand people who don't. Fred Durst is a lyrical mastermind ;) In all seriousness they are a great band live though and just great fun in general, will always love them tbh. You're right about Faith, what a tune, not their best though of course (that would be Counterfeit...).

No there wouldn't be. And wasn't. I daresay you could go back to the late 90s threads and find endless "losing the magic" talk and bemoaning of the state of pills. In fact you can and could. It's a perpetual complaint based in no kind of fact I'm familiar with.

Ah fuck, I actually love Limp Bizkit. As much as I'd prefer not to. Sitting here remembering other tunes that I've not heard for ages. Nookie, Break Stuff, N Together Now,

Are they still about then? I thought they'd sacked it like a decade ago.

You haven't had a random conversation until you've spoken to me out haha. I literally just approach random people (usually in the toilets...) and end up with them for most of the night. I must look like a right nutter. I could socialise anywhere, not as bad as my mums husband though, he literally just speaks to random people walking down the street. Northerners though eh, all mad ;)

When I was out in town with some friends, without my best friend, using Meph... I just literally replaced him with some random.

I used to come back from nights out with 1-2 numbers of random people back in that honeymoon period.

Put some Bizkit on, you know it makes sense ;) And yeah they're still going, last time I saw them was er... last March I'm tempted to say (cba looking it up) and they did a new album a few years ago. Still awesome as well ;)

And lol about replacing your mate with a random chat, sounds like a typical night for me (if I even go with mates in the first place...)

I wasn't even that outgoing back then, so it really was something!

Why wouldn't it work properly? Just depends on the person or could you work out if it'd work well for you or not? Like you won't still be able to get it if it's banned anyway tbh though :P

Depends on the person. Different physiology and what not.

Some people find the body load too high on even moderate doses... I'm fine unless I re-dose. A lot of people don't get any OEVs. (more sort of patterning/visual distortions really) Nausea is an issue for many, although I find this to only be present during the come up.

I found smoking a joint when peaking to really potentiate it. I managed to see fractal patterns across the setting sky... I had snorted some before that joint. (never again... don't try this at home kids)

People cant loose the magic without a tolerance. Theres a difference between loosing the magic and a difference in effects. A 2 year drought made people loose the magic? Dont think so.

Why does this perceived difference in effect not affect me then? Nor anybody that I know who has taken pills for longtime (SHM aside but he's a special snowflake ;)<3). How can I be getting the exact same effects as I ever did - the ones that quite literally changed my life - and how does this effect carry over to all I know who do not post on BL (admittedly that's a fairly small sample but am slightly jiggling the figures of who does and does not post on BL - some do but not often enough anybody else would notice). I have no complaints about pills of late - I've taken pills for over 20 years. I know what is good and what is bad. Pills of late are goooooooooooooooooooood. FACT! <3

Incidentally, people can't "lose the magic" with tolerance. If that's your argument you don't appear to know what the term means so will take your opinion of pill quality under consideration...

Same here, love them, they were/are wicked. not sure why fred gets so much hate, havent bothered to look into it. Yeah still around, theres a new-ish tune with lil wayne on a limp bizkit track, my friend said check this out... new limp bizkit stuff... and i was like i bet its gonna be shite, and lil wayne on it, what the fuck... and was quite surprised

I loved them back in the day... more so than now, I still like them but they were just part of that time of my life you know?

Stage 1 of my evening underway... just started watching my Shulgin doc (thanks Shammy). Dropping my MD in 30 mins or so.

I feel jealous just hearing the Shulgins talking about all the 2C drugs. :D

He was our age when we were into him if i recall, think he still wears it, and yeah think the guitarist does. not much into the music anymore these days, rarely listen. brings back some nostalgia though, especially this

Limp Bizkit - My Way

I hate Lil Wayne with a passion.

Fred Durst gets hate because he's a twat. He was about 40 wearing that backwards baseball cap when I was into them. I'm assuming he still wears it. Does the guitarist still cover himself in paint?

I hate Lil Wayne too, twat, the new Bizkit song is really good though (not going to lie, I usually skip the Lil Wayne bit but still :P). Durst is not a twat, he is an absolute legend, as is Wes Borland. And yes, baseball caps and paint are still worn <3 Would they be the same otherwise?!

Shambles you quoted my post before I could delete it. And that was ninja style. As I really can not be fucked to debate this. But.......How can I loose the magic if I have no tolerance? Surely loosing the magic would be after doing it multiple times? After the drought, all the mandy me and my mates consumed thought it was different, and this was including lab tested pills. I just think, that the Dutch are making it in such a way, that it is some how yeilding a different mongy mandy. As soon as I had some pills from that manchester press I could tell the difference, they gave me empathy etc.

I was 15, probably younger, when I was first into Limp Bizkit. No chance was he the same age, he was about the age of my da. In fact, I'm shouting he is the same age as my dad. I'm going to look it up.

Normally I'd be with Shambles on this but you're definitely right about those Manchester pills. The turtles were awesome. Not crazy strong but so, so good. So good that there must have been something different between them and the Dutch pills other than the dose.

Edit - Durst is only 43 the now. So I was out by about 8 years. Still closer to my dad's age than mine tho.

I was gonna say that I saw LB supporting Korn in '97, when I was seventeen, so Durst must at least be late thirties, but forty-fucking-three? That means he was my age when he was still twatting about like some backward fourteen-year-old fatty.

Suddenly I feel a lot more like a well-rounded adult. Albeit one who's significantly less wealthy than Mr Durst.
