Bankers who fuck the economy, or politicians who fiddle their expenses get a slap on the wrist... but break the speed limit and get fined a belting amount of money for doing something as pathetic as breaking the speed limit. what an absolute piss take. to some people thats a yearly wage

I do think that people should accept that this country doesn't have a road system that's particularly suited to driving the way people can drive throughout most of mainland Europe, and I do think that speeding is a real problem in built-up areas (i.e. 90% of the UK).

But fines of £10,000? Bullshit like this just makes people more likely to ignore any sensible advice and makes the whole thing look like a racket. Fucking absurd.

Ten bleedin' grand.
 
i have no idea what the Brimz debacle is all about - but I knew he was a wrongun from what he said about me with no basis in truth or evidence to support it. You either walk the walk or talk the talk and he seemed to spend half his life on here posting judging by the numbers that he made, so I know what I think.

Yeah, I bought a load about 8 years ago when there was a load of freebase going about. I thought it was alright tbh. Terrance McKenna went as far as to call it the Rolls-Royce of psychedelics. Dunno if I would go that far but seemed fun.
 
If the experience of driving a Rolls Royce were characterised by lingering nausea and a steady flow of watery excrement, then I'd be inclined to agree with McKenna.

Otherwise, beware of damaged hippies waxing lyrical.
 
All things said and done, heroin is sometimes exactly what you need. Like when you've got a habit and no gear. It's just what I need right now tbh.

Nah was on about MDPV

Kinda like AMT, apart from the 4 hours of fucking around comeup feeling sick, got some freebase atm... had it ages. Rolls-Royce of psychedelics? far from that in my opinion. the most trippy-ness i got out of it was stuff morphing. and that dose was too high, 80mg felt uncomfortable, wasnt half as enjoyable as 50mg. im surprised he said its the rolls royce considering he tripped his tits off on DMT on a regular basis. AMT feels like some sorta MDMA type thing
 
Yeah somone pushed some out of a baggie in to my mouth once but I was already absolutely cunted so it's hard to say what effect it had.

I sent him a pm but think he has me on ignore to be honest. Oh I'm a bloody idiot. Why did I have to go n be mean to him last Thursday? And he thinks I'd stir trouble for him. Honestly I wouldn't. I'm truly gutted n have been since. I should never have been mean to him n pushed his friendship away. What on earth was I thinking???? I don't blame him if he hates me n never speaks to me again :(

Also, "Rolls Royce of dope" is the more commonly quoted phrase.
Does alter the context considerably...especially as he supposedly said it in the early to mid 1960s...

To be fair he was a massive speed freak, so (from what I understand of aMT - I've never had a chance to try it) its stimulant effects may have been his cuppa tea more than psilocybin or LSD for example.

Either way, not something McKenna said to my knowledge - and not strictly referring to psychedelics.
