Should've steered this morning's conversation with Cute Polish Chick In The Shop towards 'what are you doing this weekend' territory, but I thought it'd be too cheesy. Now I'm kicking myself, because of course it's not cheesy; it's one of those normal questions that can turn into an opportunity to ask someone out.

Since I shaved my head, she's become a lot friendlier. I'm hoping that means she's a neo-Nazi or something. That'd be the icing on the cake, along with the chance to nibble at her tattoos.

I need to get a life.
 
Shaved head? That's a bit drastic. Just when the weather turned a bit nippy too. Hope you have a nice hat to keep the chill out yer follicles 8o

I once tried shaving my head during a massive strop over something I can't remember. Really quite an odd reaction. Dunno quite what I was thinking but thankfully my hair appeared to be a bit much for the clippers and it just kinda froze up under the weight and density of too much hair. Quite bloody sore extricating myself from it it was too. Won't be trying that again. Don't imagine it would be such a great look for me. You need the right type of face to pull of a shaved head or just look like a thug or a freak. I certainly would anyway (the latter more likely than the former).

I've not so much as had scissors in the vicinity of me locks in years now. Doesn't seem to grow much any more so not really needed to. I know they say cutting hair makes it grow more but I always assumed that was bollocks. Does seem to be the case with mine though. Don't think it's grown any longer in a good couple of years now.

That is all I have to say on the subject of hair I'm sure you'll be pleased to know. Mornin', all :)
 
I have a friend whose hair seemed to reach its natural maximum length and never really grow beyond that, so I know what you mean.

Don't have a hat (yet) but by Jaysus would it come in handy right now. The cold isn't all that bad, but the rain is something else entirely! And as for having the right face, I'm somewhere between thug and freak really, but it really seemed like a good idea at the time. :D

If it works on Polish Chick though, I may just be tempted to keep it. No maintenance whatsoever. That's the hairstyle I'm talking about, not the woman, but that'd be ideal too.

Oh, and top of the afternoon.
 
I keep my hair long at least partially for the lack of maintenance thing actually. Obviously I need to wash it and brush it but other than that not a thing. It's the middle ground with hair that's the faff. Especially those short haircuts that need regular trimming. I had spiky hair at school for a while and was forever getting the piss taken cos I didn't get it trimmed often enough so the spikes were a bit long. Now, I just wash and go. Because I'm worth it.
 
Yeah, the inbetween stage is the killer. It's what's stopped me from growing mine properly these last few years. Haven't gone beyond chin length for some time. It'll all be grey before long, anyhow.
