I owe you a PM as well. I've just been struggling to get in the frame of mind for a decent reply, so I've been wasting my BL time on dick jokes and pithy remarks.

Oh, and I'm not having much fun either. Unless you count sipping a beer, attempting to skin up and typing with terrible posture as 'fun', that is.

I threw away a very nice Pyrex mong as a student just cause the thought of cleaning did me head in. I guess bongs are very much like cars, constant maintenance and cleaning, instead of just leaving them there until they're beyond salvageable.

Yeah, you may be right Kenny. Im not giving up just yet though, gonna try white vinegar and salt next, that really reacts brilliantly on drains, and i think i put too much bicarb in. Even with regular cleaning i dont think just washing up liquid would cut through the gunk thats on the inside of the thing. It doesnt bare thinking about what these noids are doing to my lungs, if the state of the bong is anything to go by. I only have a couple of tokes after my bedtime etiz dose.

Rubbing alcohol and salt make it look new.

cheers for the suggestion, its one of those with a long kneck and a bowl at the bottom that is completely inaccessable so it makes rubbing difficult. I guess i could push a scourer down there with some type of strong long and thin rod. The only alcohol spirits i have are Jack Daniels and Absynthe. Maybe Absynthe would do, I've had that bottle for about ten years, i keep offering it to guests but everyone declines the offer. I cant get rid of it. :\

You dont need to scrub, thats where the salt comes in. Put your alcohol and salt in the bong, cover the mouthpiece , and hole where the down stem go, and shake.
 
Nice to see that I missed oodles when I was away. Sorry you're no longer a mod, knock, you did a mighty fine job at it. :( And belated happy birthday, Marmz! And I agree Bear, it's a fucking stupid policy.

Amsterdam is still rather lovely, as are jacuzzi baths in hotel rooms. Combining the two was a winning plan. <3
