Gibberings CLVI: Back to the Future

& me & all! Living life straight is a trip in itself!

There's some great advice here already so, that's all really, just wanted to say that coz how I bitch about there not being enough here ;)

Sure, drugs is good, but it's not all good...

Shambles - I think that makes a lot of sense.

I'm sorry for snapping at you n others yesterday when you tried to warn me of the dangers of drinking on suboxone. After all it is a HR forum so you were only doing what 's meant to be done on Bluelight.

What is 4-FA anyway? Never heard of that. MDB how much benzos are you on if you don't mind me asking? Do you plan of tapering off them or leaving it for awhile? It's your life n you're entitled to do what you want but can I ask you, why are you afraid to be sober? I don't mean that in a derogratory sense it just seems like you are.

You're right. Much better to be honest. I wasnt entirely honest with my key worker that 8 mg subs wasn't stopping my cravings. If I had have been. I'd have been on 12 mg quicker n saved myself a helluva lot of pain n humiliation.

Not a problem - we'll call it a draw on the snapping at each other front and move on to better things, eh? :)<3

Also, as I said last night but not sure if you picked up on it, when somebody points out that (for example) drinking alcohol whilst on bupe is inherently risky it's not just that person they are talking to - they're also talking to anybody and everybody else who happens to read it whether they are BLers or lurkers or anybody else in the vicinity beacuse, yes, it is a HR forum and we've been trying to get the HR stuff a bit more front and centre recently cos it can sometimes be a bit obscured by all the larking about and hedonism. Like drugs, hedonism is great, also like drugs, it needs a lil moderation to get the best from it.

Hahaha yeah we'll call it a draw <3 .
Tbh I'm always saying that on the OD suboxone thread when people stop talking about sub - that it's not just BL members reading, but other lurkers asking questions through Google. But they accused me of "trying to moderate the thread." Wtf? Anyway you're right n with these threads genuinely for being a laugh I forget the HR issue but you're right it's the main point of BL n extremely important.
What does gibberings mean anyway?
For the record I find you extremely knowledgable, intelligent n caring. I'm jealous in a way. I'm no good at debating. I've seen people do it calmly but I find that difficult. I can do it when I am doing an essay (form an argument for n against) but it takes time as I find it difficult to phrase things. God knows how I'm doing a masters lol.

"Memberating" (as it's generally known around these parts and possibly others) does irritate some people but there's nothing wrong with reminding people of the fundamental reason for this site's existence and pointing out stuff like the ratio of poster to lurkers and the like cos we all tend to forget sometimes. It's easy to get caught up in the lil BL Bubble we exist in but there are far more folk looking in from outside who will never register as members and join in but still want answers to whatever questions they may have. I do it all the time. Was on staff for quite a while and it's kinda ingrained in me :o

What does gibberings mean anyway?

It's the noise monkeys make or summat. Also just general chit-chat of more freeform variety. Basically means you can use this thread to talk about more or less anything - no specific topic to stay on unlike other threads.

*blushes* <3

Dunno about debating but I'm certainly opinionated and not afraid to share those opinions. Sometimes a bit too forcefully but hopefully more often with a bit of reasoning and sense. I also often find it difficult to phrase things which is why it can be kinda hard to follow what I'm actually trying to say sometimes :o

Couldn't tell you how you're doing a masters but am rather impressed you are. I never made it to uni for various reasons. Bit of a regret of mine but maybe one day if it seems the right thing to do. Good luck with your course :)

(and what is your course?)

Right complaint made to admin about you know what. I'm not going to discuss it any further as I'm hoping I've done things through the right channels. Thank you all for sticking by me n not giving me the finger I wouldn't be surprised if you did after last night - you wouldn't be the first. I feel calmer now. Without saying anything I really feel that I've ruined something I was trying to get on BL. All ruined now. Lesson learnt :)

Oh course is Weight Management lol

If you're referring to what happened in OD then I can't comment cos I don't know owt about it, but if you mean EADD or BL in general you've not ruined a thing. It occurred to me whilst cooking dins tonight that we didn't have a codeine addiction thread before you came along. We do now because you did. That's one extra HR resouce we gained. I'd count that as a win not a loss. Nothing ruined :)

I know you don't like the "fuck 'em" advice and that's not exactly what I tend to mean by it anyway - I mostly use it as shorthand for not taking what people say too much to heart. This is a drug info forum so it stands to reason that people post stuff in all kindsa states - and that's without even going into the various other issues people may have going on of innumberable kinds. As such, it's easy to get the wrong end of the stick, or for people to say things that they really don't mean, or (frequently) a bit of both.

My top tip would be to give people the benefit of the doubt - at least initially - and see if whatever the issue is with somebody that is bothering you is part of a pattern of behaviour or is it a one-off incident. Try to take a step back when something upsets you and try not to think the worst as a first step. Members who really are a problem don't tend to last very long because they rack up too many infractions and spend so long "on holiday" that you either don't see them very much at all or they spot the trend and wind their neck in a bit. Basically, people who just cannot get along in at least a semi-reasonable fashion end up hanging themselves. Leave them do so - don't let it drag you down too :)

(apologies for ramble - another thing i'm rather prone to :o)

Oh course is Weight Management lol

I had no idea you could get a masters in that. Live and learn, eh :)

Feel free to manage my weight - can't do a worse job than I do :D

That makes sense , Shambles. People in TDS were saying similar to you. They have a vent thread so I used it to not desturb the thread in question n getting in trouble. I wont discuss last night anymore if that's ok as I've now gone through the appropiate channels (what I should have done yesterday, reported the thread in question to the Administrator of that section. So I feel much calmer now n let him look into it this xxxx

ColtDan, have you ever written a trip report of your life changing DMT trip where you found mother earth and came to an undeestanding that we are all one and all that shiznit. This sorta stuff interests me greatly.

I haven't taken any psyches for a very long time. Once upon a tine we dropped acid every week for about 2 years in the bygone era of the early 90s. I did buy a small quantity of Al-lad to do with my oldest friend (can only trip in any format really with enjoyable, safe feelings with her). It is still hidden and now a bit scared of it.

raas Have you read Grigore's posts..can't remember if it was DMT he was on but my god it was interesting and fucking scary as hell reading-he found something for sure. Did you watch that DMT documentary (may have been on netflix)..I fell asleep ..says it all for me. Keeping with the speedy highs =D

Morning all. Woke at 8 and honestly didn't know whether that was 8am or 8pm. Dark enough for pm. Pissing down. Wind battering my house. Time to stay indoors and put things up my nose.

Yeah mate, well kinda

First trip report, its a bit crude took me a while to come to grips with what i had experienced, but it was the basis of the connectivity one-ness, if i was to write it today it would be better written but the basics of it
