I've always assumed what Shamster said was so, but suspicion arises as sometimes I would get hold of pills that weren't so great, but blatantly MDMA. These would be double dropped, and though the strength was there (heart rate went up/nearly puked etc) the euphoria wasn't. Other pills would be very euphoric, even in low doses. Always wondered if it could have been an issue of quality not quantity... though this doesn't make sense to me, as it is a chemical substance not herbal.

Of all the 50? Not to sound patronisinga job but have you asked the job centre if they have courses on CV writing n application? There's always something we can learn n be worth it if you get a job. Sorry you're having so much difficulty finding a job xxxx
 
Theres allways at least 100 - 200 people applying for every single one of these jobs. My CV is quite good now, but it was flawed before. Even if your CV is perfect though and you are the ideal candidate there's going to be dozens of others in the same boat all after that one job. It's a game of numbers and persistence. I got about 8 responses from the 50 odd applications i did last week, that is quite a good response rate. I think about 3 of the applications are still 'alive' and being forwarded on to the companies.

I landed 3 interviews towards the end of last year when i pulled my finger out for a couple of weeks. One vacancy didnt materialise, it was put on hold. Another interview i came 3rd. Another interview i declined it as i didnt really want that job anyway.

Raas, I wouldn't usually resort to these measures but I'm going to forge a temporary alliance with your God. In the hope that He delivers us from more MDMA synth-speculation. :)

PS: There's at least one thread on the subject out there if you're that way inclined. Alternatively you could beat your head against the sturdiest brick structure you can find.

For the record, I'm impressed at Sammy for having the courage to declare that tale. Please don't think I'm flaming him here; that wouldn't be fair because he need not have disclosed that info. As he said "no-one was harmed", other than his soul maybe. I do also worry about what he hasn't told us yet...

Hungry. I'm currently fasting.

Admittedly this is more for vanity reasons than spiritual. I've accrued a stone of weight over Christmas... at the same time it gives opportunity to empathise with those in the world who are currently starving. Win, win.
