I never really got the hazing thing. I think Ratties are a bit obsessed with postcounts so maybe didn't quite know what to make of me being neither newb nor Rat so just kinda went with it (or maybe I just won 'em over with my winning personality and fine taste in music ;)) but either way I never got any grief. Nothing that required firing up more than the one brain cell to swat aside anyway.

I don't think it really compares in that way given the different scope of the forums.

No because when "they" come here they tend to troll drug threads - even RIP threads - which just ain't on. If they wanted to try trolling this thread or other EADD social threads there'd be no problem. We have standards here is all. No Drug Talk In Teh Lounge? Fine. No Shit Talk In The Drug Threads and Insta-Infraction For Trolling RIP Threads.

what constitutes trolling is a matter of opinion. it's the easiest thing to dismiss somebody or something as trolling when they're actually trying to express a sincere opinion.

Just cos EADD combines drug and social threads - it's just not directly comparable like that for me. I'm certainly deeply biased though.

The trolling of drug and RIP threads was a serious point though. That shit wouldn't fly in any other forum on BL so I don't see why we should be expected to just put up with it when it happens here. Which is not often, for sure. But it does happen. We almost never get Rats posting in social threads - they seem to focus on soft targets that cause maximum offence. Which is hardly a surprise.
 
Overdosing on TinyChat is acceptable if unfortunate. At least somebody might conceivably be able to contact emergency services on the unfortunate's behalf. Holding somebody against their will and raping them for the amusement of The Lounge on TinyChat is less acceptable. Imo and all that.
 
Not really. I suppose it depends on the individual but I don't think I'd be able to not at least try to help if it was feasible. If I really couldn't be fukked with a person's antics for whatever reason (boy who cried wolf or the like) then I'd probably not bother talking to them on TC or whatever. But as I never took part in any of that stuff I really can't speak to all of that aside from the fundamental fact that raping people is wrong whether you do it for "lulz" or not
 
An excellent and eminently sensible decision.

And I really didn't mean to drag all that up again but the whole TC bizniz is still a very sore point around these parts (especially for those that knew Martin (I did - albeit we only met in person the once)) so can't help responding to... suggestive comments like OTW even if it does count as being "trolled". It is of some relevance to the current discussion as it was that incident which triggered the most recent - most heated - bad blood between us and Teh Lounge. Specifically talking in relation to the Ratty trolling of Martin's RIP thread which was one of the points made above.

But also an unfortunate generalization at best. There's no way piss's are uniform. Horses spring to mind. And prostate cancer sufferers. And horses with prostate cancer.
 
Morning EADD.On the subject of pissing,it usually takes my flow at least a minute to get going so I sometimes find myself having to sit down like a woman and just wait for it to start.

I have to go to the tip 2day n that counts as work in anybodys book surely ? I noticed last night that someone has fly tipped their old sink not far from here . Basically they must have thrown the sink in the bushes of the nearby filling station !!

I noticed a good £5 worth of copper on it which i am about to go n grab in a second when i get some fags .

Going to the tip was certainly far to much like hard work for this fly tipper.
 
Pissing takes me a while too, but that's because I suffer from shy bladder, which is murder if I'm out at the pub, standing at the urinal holding my cock with nothing happening, wonrried that people are thinking I'm in the toilets for "other reasons" which just increases the anxiety and makes having a piss even more unlikely. If I get started before anyone else is in the toilet I'm fine, but it's moot now as I always using the cubicles to save me the stress. I'd hoped it would get better with time, and persisted using the urinals, but it didn't, and when I realised I wasn't the only person in the world to suffer from this, I thought why put myself through this just for a piss?



I bought some copper piping many years ago, from a scrappy. Never used it (was going to use it to make a still), maybe it's worth a bit of money now! Cost me a tenner or thereabouts, where do I find the going rate?

Copper peaked a while back Knock but it's probably worth more than u paid for it .

Here is a good place to start but personally i would just weigh it in while prices are good .

Try waiting until it's unbearably painful. You'll be so relieved to get it out that you'll piss just anywhere.

Also, that's good practice in general if you plan to live beyond the age of sixty-five, because as a nurse friend once informed me, that's usually the very first thing to go...
