Today, we would like to acknowledge all that you’re doing and say a big THANK YOU for everything you made happen in the last year.

Because of your action:

Child slaves in India are being given a voice in the fight to end child forced labour;
Forced labour is being prevented under US government contracts;
Modern slavery has been criminalised in Australia;
Trafficking victims in the US continue to receive protection and support;
International media was abuzz with news of Walk Free activists dressed up as video characters to deliver petitions to Nintendo;
And just weeks ago…
FIFA pledged to keep modern slavery out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

I swear I get worse colds at september/ october and april/ may than I do during actual winter.
 
Mate never got my text yesterday sayin I was cancelling on him so I have just peeled him off my sofa and sent him on his way. Think we must have gone through about thirty beers between the three of us; mrs snolls turned up mid afternoon after texting me to come meet her because she couldn't find my house and was 'looking like a perve' loitering in the street. She was happier than I've seen her in a long time so that was really nice. I'm assuming I didn't drink tooooo much cos I feel ok after a pint of orange and got some codeine coming in an hour hopefully. Weed and baccy in my tin but don't fancy a joint, which is fucking weird.

Edit: Mate lamented to me that I had no toilet roll but when I went in the bathroom there were skid marks in the pan. I really really do not want to know, because if he'd found the kitchen roll to use as a substitute he'd have found the loo roll too.
 
i am feeling pretty sad atm but i defy anyone to play this song an not at least smile . If you can't at least smile when u hear this then you must be a really fukin miserable muthfuka ................

Hey you're right, that did make me smile. Hope you feel less down soon, sad sucks but music like this is p awesome, always makes me feel like it's summer

all the wood in my shed has now been burnt for heating the upsatirs of my house, i was supplementing it with big fallen branches and stuff, and it worked so well, the shed wood burnt really fast and got the much more slow burning and long lasting fallen branches going. Now my shed wood has all been used i can no longer be arsed just collecting fallen branches and stuff, they take a good while to dry out, and do introduce bugs into my house, had a couple of wood lice coming out of one log placed on the fire, they got chucked straight back in, and also a couple of bugs that i didnt even know what they were. I hope to fuck none of them have layed eggs indoors. If they have i dont think its an ideal environment for them as my house isnt damp, which is what they like.

I got good at making roaring fires and enjoyed making and watching them when stoned, after a few trials you find what works best, a couple of sheets of newspaper crumpled into a ball, some layers of cardboard with twigs inbetween to provide air gaps and kindling, the bigger stuff on top, any thing damp to the sides to dry out, before chucking on. I got free upstairs heating for a month. Possibly saved about £100. If id had a job theres no way id have bothered with all that.

Is it just me or did anyone else need the air sea rescue team to haul them out of the hole in the logic of that one:)

My house has no chimney at all, which is a shame as I really like a proper fire, but then I don't have a shed full of wood either so equilibrium is maintained.

you mean id have been better spending my energy trying to get a job ?

I did, i couldnt get one. I applied for about 500 jobs, no exxageration. And then i was finally advised by one of my support workers to concentrate on quitting bupe and benzos before getting a job. Im gonna quit bupe first, but quitting benzos will take too long as im gonna do a very gradual taper. I'll be trying to get a job again once im out of the woods with bupe, but whilst tapering etiz.
 
Amazing. Just been out walking in bright sunshine for 30 mins, just got home and the heavens (and hell) have opened. Currently watching non-stop forked lightning and hailstones.

I'm with Albi (not literally mind) - this weather is outstanding.
 
Had an impressive flurry of hail here not long back. Went from cloudy, chilly, windy but dry to absolutely frikkin savage hail in a heartbeat. Only lasted a minute or so at most but it looked like it'd been snowing for an hour or summat. Really rather glad I got back from town a minute or two before it started actually. I suspect that'd be kinda sore to be caught out in 8o
