I was told I was going to get some liquid benzos :D but eventually they just decided to tighten my head brace, hannibal lecter type thingy.

That looks more like a CT scanner. I've had 7 of them, never had an MRI though.

Interesting fact about CT scans, each one is equivalent to 1000 x-rays in radiation, about the same as living in Aberdeen for 3 years.
 
MRI scanners are horrible, noisy room-sized machines. I was in one for 45 minutes once. They gave me some classical music to listen to on headphones, but I couldn't hear it over the fucking machine.

Interestingly MDA seems to be the drug of choice amongst ravers in the US (they're calling it sass, as in sassafras).. so I have my fingers crossed that it'll be over here soon. (Also, hi! I had fun reading the old debates in my lurking days.)

I do remember my most recent MDMA experience being a bit of a disappointment, I had put it down to just coming off SSRIs, this was last July at BLOC. But maybe it was "shit MDMA".

Certainly all the MDMA I had up to 2008 was fucking great. Then the pips hit the scene and you couldn't trust a dealer.

4-FA and 6-APDB is a pretty fucking great alternative anyway =D In some ways, better.

Anyway what I really want to say is, I've spent a long half day analysing a domestic electric mains system for my cousin and replacing one of the single sockets with a double, and I have more to do tomorrow. I wanted to clean up my living room and sit down on the armchair and maybe play a game but frankly I'm a bit tired, and I need to be in bed by 12.

Having a taxi sent for me at 7.30am tomorrow. Spending the day in hospital having my immune system poked by some strand of ecoli as part of a clinical trial I'm doing. I've been taking a pill every day for the last week and not been allowed to have any caffeine or alcohol. Cannae wait to suckle on a vanilla coke when it's over.

On a side note, fuck winter and its freezing cold toilet seats.
 
my toilet seat seemed pretty warm when I sat on it earlier! But I've been moving around, I broke out in a sweat just diagramming that mains system! I was lying down most of the time!
 
Thank you Uncle Bob. I think I earned it too! I've worked harder in the last two days than in the last two years! And there's more to come. Really, if this is me after two half days of moderate exertion, I'm not sure how I'm ever going to go back to FTE, but I'm going to have to.
 
Sitting on the shitter at manchester picadillly public train station toilets gave me mixed feelings, a stranger has just shite here.. but I didnt have to lay down some ground padding of toilet roll as it was warm.

But like I said, I've never noticed my current toilet seat being cold. I do remember past toilet seats being a beat touch and go. Gently lowering myself then rising up when I felt the bite then lowering myself again, hoping to pass some body heat into the plastic ring. My thoughts are with those with cold plastic rings.
 
It depends on the material the toilet seat is made of, some plastics get colder than others.

In Dubai in a mall they had a Japanese type of toilet, so cool, having streams of hot water and pressurized air.
