Gibberings CIX: Different directions

noone at work knows that the slow guy makes me mad, I hide it. He is more than a "bit" slower than me, I am about 5x faster than him at least, and I don't work fast to suck up or anything, I just get really bored if I'm working too slow, and we have so much work to get through, it makes the day go faster if you are just working non stop.
 
I'm guessing a lot of your work mates get really mad about all your sick days and the amount of work they have to do in your absence. Probably think it's a total liberty that you can be off 40% of the time and still have a job and get paid.
 
If you were a model employee who was always in and worked hard then you'd have 'some' right to get mad at people who work slow, but at the moment you've got no right at all. :p
 
People being constantly blagging days off is more annoying than slow workers
 
Of course I have the fucking right, that's like saying criminals have no right to a lawyer because they broke the law so they shouldn't get to use the legal system. Or that fat people shouldn't be allowed medical care. Twatface.
 
At the height of my heroin addiction I must have taken at least one day off sick a week and that went on for months.
Don't know how I got away with it but I recall it was difficult trying to think up a new illness each week.

Mugz, as you know, I think a lot of you, but you are a shit employee, unreliable and a bit of a headache. My employer would have jogged you on months ago, as would many others.If you want to keep the job you need to change, or as bandw says, find something that you either enjoy, or that challenges sufficiently to keep you interested and keen.

Well I don't want a kg of it MM, just a couple grams.

Also, I know I'm an absolutely terrible employee, the worst, any other organisation and I would have been sacked ten times over. I aim to change that though over the next few months.

And if you had a job at all you'd have some right to comment on what people should & shouldn't do within their jobs, but at the moment you've no right at all ;)

To continue our bickering from last night, tell us about your trip to Israel in January.

How can you afford to travel when you can't even pay for your family size packs of Monster Munch, or have your family finally had enough of you and are sending you off to a kibbuz?

When I have a job, despite hating it, I'll go in every day and not take sick days. I won't run about like a headless chicken though. Mugz might have a job but it works out he does about the same amount of work as me seeing as he's never there. :D

I have no problem with Mugz skiving off, fair play to him but I just think it's massively hypocritical for him to get really mad at an employee who does go in every day and work even if he is slow.

Trip to Israel in January, no solid plans are made as of yet but I know people in Tel Aviv and have invites to stay with them. Will only be a 2 week trip I reckon then I'll be aiming to take off on a bigger trip in February, not sure where yet.

As for how I can afford to travel, mind your own fucking business eh. ;)

How can you afford to buy a house when you're not working? Oh as I thought none of my fucking business. So mind you own. :)

If you work at a job where if your off sick and it dosent affect other employees its fine, obviously its nothing to do with you. At my work though, of anyone is sick etc on the day everyone else has to work harder, you cant leave untill the jobs done, staying behind sometimes 2-3 hours after your scheduled to leave. If that same person is sick all the fucking time it does get annoying, why should I have to do there work because theyve been on a bender and cant handle coming in and doing a bit of work for a few hours? Been in work countless times after being awake for like 30+ hours, still fucked etc
 
most of my absences have been long periods of time signed off by the doctor rather than missing a day because of a binge, although there have been a few single days,but 99% of my time off has been at least 2 week long periods.
 
Well that makes it so much better Mugz, staying off for 2 weeks or more is better than one day. :D
