Do you know what type of salamander it is? It looks like a bit like a fire salamander but they're not native.

Funeral tomorrow.
The positive aspects will be the attendance of amazing people,the love that comes with them, the charity they will contribute to, the chosen music, the slight flare of colour and the emotional outburst that is obviously ready to pour out.

But ... fuck... It's gunna be rough.

I have zero knowledge about kratom apart from the one time i tried it which was terrible...trying to get all this vegetable matter into me only for stomach aches and no discernible high or effects.

I would imagine that a mild opiate like codeine would keep withdrawl away but its just a guess.
 
I think MyDrugBuddy would be good for answering this, but fuck knows where he's gone to these days..
 
I've heard that Kratom can help alleviate opiate/opioid withdrawal, so I'm guessing that the converse is also true. CWE of co-codamol tablets are an option, though you might find that too enjoyable. Perhaps get some generic OTC co-codamol (7.5/500mg) and take as instructed on the box. When I had a baby smack habit, this helped to take the edge off. However, I've no idea how 'addictive' kratom is so I'm only making assumptions here..
 
I only did kratom for a couple of months, and switched from kratom to butyrfentanyl without really experiencing a full withdrawal, but there was time during that period of kratom use I had to go without for a bit over 24 hours and I spent a good amount of that time aggressively vomiting. I was also pretty hungover and had been doing constant heavy doses of kratom in the run up to it, but the point is I wouldn't assume kratom withdrawals from 8/9 months of use are going to be a complete walk in the park.

Woah, what the fuck. My initial thought was same as Don Luigi; Fire Salamander and non-native. But they don't look anything like how I remember, so maybe newt.
