Gibberings CCXV -- 2C-B And A Mine Field Of Fuckery...

Has anyone been to Kerala or Goa recently ? I've got the chance to go at the end of the month and wondering if anyone has any experience?

I was thinking the same thing tbh - I've never heard of anyone going in the last few years (who didn't stay in an exclusive resort anyway). It's a short break and will be flying alone so was thinking maybe Kerala - something beach, forest good food and decent weather.
 
I was checking yesterday about places to stay etc - it seems like there has been a big shift from the government and it appears the place stops about 11pm. Bars and clubs start closing at 10pm the mall shuts at 11pm and then after that nothing?

I was going to stay in the Fort Kochi region but having second thoughts now tbh - by 11 there is an increase police present (moral police) so the streets clear except for a few shops etc.

Don't know how much of that is true but it is repeated on several blogs.
 
Yeah Kerala and I have been wanting to go Kochi for years but my partner doesn't fancy it. He's off to Morocco that week so I was going to go by myself as it's only a few hours flight from the gulf.

I could live without clubbing etc but I do like a few drinks of an evening etc - apparently the clubs start at sunset and go hard until 11 but still unless you find an after party (which sound rare) your sort of finished by 12.
 
Go out then have drinks back at yours or crew you meet. You wont be the only one who wants to go past 11. Its like the religious holidays in Thailand when they dont sell booze. Its never stopped me getting on it. Go. Kerala is awesome. The best fish curry in the world.

I thought glasto was shite anyway, but then again there was a major fuck up with my drugs situation.

Best stage is the glade (and Arcadia) IMO... The rest of them are just your bog standard festival tents/stages. The deco is shite and there are hardly any trees.

I've not been since 1989 - and it was getting shit then. Full of trendy middle class students who expected real toilets FFS...
