Some people are so low and pathetic that they have nothing going on in their own life fucking with others makes them feel as if they have worth. If they didn't try and hold that small pathetic power over others they'd have to face the reality that they lead a worthless loveless life. They can't be happy unless they're making someone else miserable. Sad and pathetic.

The dude who rolled me did know where I worked and who to contact as he was actually my friend. Lived on my couch for 2 years.

Its likely this fucko of yours is bluffing but no idea how your email got out.

Im with arnold here. Say fuck all, if yer email was on your profile they have fuck all on you. Hacking someones email is highly unlikely unless you were tricked into clicking something.
Id have told them to fuck off unless they have proof they have more.
 
Arnold, it's always safe to err on the side of caution. Suppose consumer will do what's best for him. I wish him the best.

Let's face it, even using a proxy this douche will get caught out eventually.

A person really has to be miserable and lame to do things like that to others. It just says more about them than the person they're stalking.

As Arnold said, this doesn't sound like a good idea really. I don't know the exact nature of these threats, but if it is simply revealing your bl identity to your employer, then what do you have to gain from incriminating yourself - especially if the douche in question hasn't actually proven they know where you work?

Sounds like nothing more than malicious trolling, but I totally get it sucks to be on the receiving end.

You haven't deactivated that setting as yet, once logged in you need to click on settings in the top right corner then go to general setting on the left hand side then in messaging and notification untick all the e-mail boxes and disable vcard download.
 
Fixed. I just received a pm from someone that certainly shed some light on who may behind this. I am getting a friend come up and stay who is an uber nerd / hackertervist to see if he can get to the bottom of all this. Until then back into the darkness plotting revenge for FUBAR stealing my acid.
 
Had a blast man. Stayed in Dublin, got a student at trinity to give me a tour / didn't have to pay to see the book of Kells...

Went to the botanic gardens which I recommend to all, saw some stand up comedy (smuggled some edibles for the occasion...was so stoned :D).

Drank a lot of guiness. Which I now love :)

I've never been to see the book of Kells but it's a pretty amazing artefact.

As an Irishman, it's shameful that I'm only a recent convert to Guiness. I only tried it for the first time in the last couple of years and now I drink it all the time %)
