Yeah i would imagine being gay in the middle east not much fun. I dont picture the middle east as being much fun for anyone. Egypt was pretty chilled when i was there in 1991. I have no idea what things are like now though.
The money is insane - starting to change at the moment due to the oil price but still. 185K AUD a month etc (90Gbp) is pretty normal.

I earn 75k AUD a year to put that into perspective.

Yeah thats my base wage. I get a bit more than that in reality because of shift work loading but nursing is not the best paid job, especially considering it requires a university degree.

Recovering from a hellish night of food poisoning. Symptoms have died down, but I've not had a fever like that for a long time. Just thankful that I'll be better for the due date, as I couldn't imagine still puking and pooping during the child birth!!

Had a wee trip planned for today, ended up sacking it off cos I had to stay late at work and wouldn't have got half way there before 6pm. Having a spliff and a gin and tonic instead, gonna get Monster Hunter for the Wii U on in a bit before mandatory Mario Kart time kicks off when the missus gets in. Today has gone so fast it honestly feels like I only got up half an hour ago, work usually drags on a Saturday but that sped by too so yay I guess!

I accidentally ingested a quarter of a tab of 100mic 1P-LSD about three hours ago to see what all this microdosing lark is about. Feel 'acid-y' in the head and torso and a lot less clumsy and anxious, a lot happier to just 'be'. Found myself floating about the kitchen and giggling to myself about stuff. A lot of issues that were issues earlier in the day aren't bugging me. Maybe placebo, I dunno, 1P is the only one of the acid analogues I have that I haven't tried a full dose of yet, that's for next weekend. Could see this being a useful dose from time to time though, I have a lot of ADD-like issues (not gonna say i have it, got told by the educational psychologist to see my GP about it, haven't gotten round to it yet, ha) and it feels like just taking a break from all of that, and all of the anxiety. Obviously not recommending it as a cure-all or anything, but by god it's nice to have a clear head for once.

Hot water + enclosed space + methylated spirits is not pleasant even if you hold your breath while you're in the same room as it. I should probably find a way to disinfect my hat that is less noxious, or at least do it outside, next time.
