i was smoking meth the other day and i decided to hold it in just like i do with another smokable drug but this tweaker like yelled at me saying thats the worst thing you could do and that if i keept doing it my ungs ould crystalize. He was saying u want it blown out as fast as u can.

Granted he was a straight crazy tweaker. So im trying to ask some people who are a little more in touch with reality

I only smoked meth once and have been in that scene with others but I think that "crazy Tweaker" was absoultey right. It is one of the few things that when you smoke you exhale fast because if you hold it in the weird disgusting chemical that it is whill actually crystillize and kill ur lungs. dont f with that ish bro

That crazy tweaker is just like you said--crazy. Smoking ANYTHING is bad for your lungs, and while meth might be slightly funkier than most smokable drugs, it isn't going to kill you faster if you hold in your hits for a few extra seconds. Now, I don't recommend holding in your hit until you're blue in the face, but you don't have to blow it out immediately either.
If the shit DID leave crystalline deposits in your lungs, then every meth smoker or anyone who has smoked meth frequently in the past is in trouble, right? Don't listen to him.

I think it's right as in destroying your lungs, but crystalise them?? Like silver surfer? Hm...

There is no need to hold in your hits; however it isn't going to recrystallize in your lungs, that's quite ignorant.

You should be able to inhale, and exhale within 2-3 seconds (at the longest) and still effectively absorb the drug.
 
I don't smoke it and never liked smoking (I shoot) but my ex never held his hits and I have heard him say this too. Face it if it does or doesn't recrystallize your lungs whatever it is doing is not much better.
 
Method is absorbed quickly. Holding it in for longer then 5 seconds is not recommended. The junk will not crystalize in your lungs
 
hold it in for 5 seconds tops..no way is it possible for methamphetamine or any water soluble drug or even non water doluble drugs like crack for instance to re-crytalize in the lungs...the tweeker that told you that is a fucking idoit who has their superstions as tweekers often do,,lol..i should know since i started in 1995 and still do some meth on occasion.I have seen and heard every possible bullshit theory and rituals for using meth in all ways ..injecting,smoking,snorting,eating it, etc.. and the only good advice or whatver i have learned is mainly to eat or consume about 500 calories a day so your brain will function somewhat normally,and that is probably bullshit but having some food or drinking water is a good idea.......
 
Like others have said, it's BS. Methamphetamine cannot recrystalise on lung tissue.

If it did, I'd probably be dead by now. I've been smoking meth heavily for 3 years.
