I've been using GHB on and off for 3 years, never abused it too much, only in a recreational enviroment.
as of lately though, I've been using it less sporadically and got up to 1 or 2 uses every day. No signs of addiction yet
Anyway, I have started to notice the comedowns off every dose, and I get lethargic, edgy and somewhat nervous.
Judging by everything I've read on GHB, it prevents the release of dopamine during the peak effect, and releases it as it wears off. This should be a good thing (speed does, and makes you feel good, alert, smart, etc.), only it just makes me feel like shit and have a dull state of mind for a few hours.
Or does it?
Only today I realized about GHB's comedown speed-like potential: I was coming down and got home, to find it in a state of, as usual, complete chaos (it was a fucking mess alright). So I got pissed off (probably due to the comedown) and I started cleaning up.
While I was doing it, I realized I felt immensely focused on what I was doing, a bit like speed, only without the jitteriness. And moving from task to task was really easy.
Usually, I'm a very laid back (fucking lazy) kind of person, but in under 2 hours I had the whole house clean and got to do some things that I had been postponing since fuck knows when.
Somehow, I directed this comedown to get things done (speed also makes me a bit pissed off if I don't do something practical) and was amazed it worked so good.
The stimulating effect of the comedown was not apparent until I actually got off my ass and did something (definitely unlike speed).
So to all of you G heads out there, try it...it might work almost as good as speed for studying, and be a lot more healthy.
sorry for the long rambling... (no, I'm not on speed or G right now)
