I recently bought some ghb and tested it to see how acidic/alkaline it was. It had a ph of 5.6 making it on the acidic side. As i have already learnt - this is because of unreacted lactone. What i would like to know is whether this unrected lactone still has the same effect on you as ghb with a ph of 7-10? Is it more harmfull? All advice appreciated.

Unreacted lactone is much better than unreacted base. Much safer also. Many dont even convert the lactone to GHB. I wouldn't do it but you can simply dose straight GBL.

Thats not very far off, so you could get away taking it as-is... if you want to, you can adjust it with some NaOH, or just drink as is... be carefull, you bought this and didn't make it, so start dosing SMALL and work your way up...
