Didn't think GHB would be the first drug of choice to take at a rave. Cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine would be first on my list before GHB. I've been on cycle and taken those drugs before, not so much cocaine because of how high it can raise blood pressure while of a serious cycle, but I've been fine not noticed any difference between that and being off cycle.

I figure those big guys are just showing off their bodies at raves. I don't think big guys correlate with GHB use.

As for body building, GHB has never really been proven to increase gains like the rumor says. It does increase growth hormone, however this is accompanied by an increase in prolactin.

GHB can relax muscles, improve slow-wave sleep and decrease/increase hunger cravings (depending on your dose). I would say GHB is mainly useful in its ability to lower blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and put an individual to sleep quickly. All of these things are beneficial for someone interested in sports or attending raves.

However with GHB use, chances are you are making an excuse to get addicted to a drug that is on the verge of being more harmful than helpful. Long term use can effect your brain quite negatively and cause damage which can result in anhedonia, irritability and anxiety.

as a lover of Ghb myself ive always wondered about Ghb and its supposed bb effects..i never noticed anything but in a few key areas it is better than alcohol..first off, ghb gives you a ton of energy without the bloated bodyload of alcohol..Ghb makes you feel leaner whereas alcohol has the opposite effect..ghb is an amazing sexual enhancer whereas alcohol isnt..plus, ghb has no calories and alcohol is loaded with them..

i never noticed any anabolic effects from ghb though..

it's starting to make a big comeback.it was easily made back in the 80's-early 90's until the fda started banning it and some key ingredients but at least 3 of my sources have just added ghb to their list of products.would love to give this a go but from what i've read, esp about Mick Hart, that's it's extremely addictive...

ghb is supposed to secrete HGH as far as i know, it's also a nice alternative to booze. gregg valentino claimed it had anabolic/fatloss effects.

From what I heard, GHB was sold by GNC during the 1980's. Then some idiot decided it made a nice "date-rape" drug and it became illegal. In the 1990s I was able to buy a substance that was the direct precursor to GHB. After the Federal ban in 1990, a number of small companies began promoting nearly identical substances that, once ingested, would become GHB. GBL, or gamma-butyrolactone, is one such prodrug. I used this, on a sporadic basis, for a few years before the online sources dried up. I cannot attest to any bodybuilding attributes, but if you were desperate to sleep and nothing else at all worked, this shit would knock you cold. I generally slept like a baby for 10 - 12 hours and then would wake up ready to take on the world.

In conjunction with anabolic steroids I can now attest that it definitely improves fat loss and muscle mass gain tremendously.

Without AAS I would say it has some minor beneficial effects that make it worth running, but there's really no limit to how much you can abuse it.

The excess sodium of overusing GHB is very negative and can really mess with your blood pressure and heart rate. Other nutrients can become very off balanced and this will hinder your gains if you fail to realize this. There have been fatalities from GHB withdrawals and the withdrawals build up much quicker than alcohol's do.

It was made illegal because it is a highly addictive, euphoric, gaba-agonist with a very short half life (30-50 minutes) making it possibly one of the most compulsively addictive drugs available. GHB is to Alcohol as Cocaine is to Meth. If it were more popular and its positive effects were well known, I could see it become a problem drug at the level of heroin.

The "date rape" thing is real, but it's mostly media propaganda to keep kids from realizing that it's actually very fun. Alas, I've been involved with some very shady people in relation to GHB, while it has positive effects on my mood, I will not argue whether it should be legal or not.

My Experience: I have used GHB now on and off for 6 months. I've spent a lot of money on it using it as a Body building supplement; pre-work out, post work out, alcohol replacement, meal enhancer, cutting enhancer, sleep inducer and stimulant come-down aid.

Messing with GHB the wrong way has lead me to being lied to, stolen from, jacked, other drug addictions and losing friends.

All I can say is that it's on another level of its own from AAS. Bluelight SD tells kids not to use AAS in their teens or beginning their weight lifting career. Renz says to use GHRPs or GH/ fragments, do not use GHB.

GHB can cause a complete different level of dependence and detriment on your BBing career and life. After using it, the withdrawals will eventually happen worse and worse making it harder to get off of. The "Liquid ecstasy" effects will wear off within a couple of weeks which require one to keep a gradually increasing dose, thus causing more severe withdrawals.

I recommend it over alcohol, however due to its positive effects, short half life and subjective better euphoric effects, it is a dangerous tool in the tool box.
