GHB Receptors and Recovery

I'm currently on G w/d, Having had it all day every day pretty much for about a year. With some periods off, say a couple of weeks while I drank and had benzos instead... need my downers or im way too stimulated and anxious.

even IV meth seems to settle me down over being sober.... but i hate meth without G or any other drug for that matter.

this may be old, and it wasnt a personal study but i think continued use depletes serotonin in the brain, while at first it activates it. stop use for a while. check out info on serotonin and melatonin?

The experience with 24/7 dosing is very scary. You know when you quit you are going to hurt, but if you don't take it you will feel like hell THEN. I could not control my usage, which I have demonstrated with several other substances (if you read my posts, you will know which stimulant I am referring to.)

I am still recovering. This is part of the reason you should never try to procure a large amount of gbl - soon you will be dosing every couple of hours.

On the subject of receptor regulation, is anyone aware of anything published about how fast certain receptors return to pre-abuse state? I've heard plenty of people conjecture about how long it takes to reset tolerance to this or that drug, but I've never seen any of these claims backed up.
