GHB question for regular users

PVC - looks like we're getting the same stuff. White tubs?
I'm not too pissed off about mistakenly using large amounts in the past - its sooooooo cheap.
 
White tubs! - 265ml but usually only 3/4 full. How much can you expect 2 pay for it in your area?
 
The ONLY time I have seen these crystalized, waxy 'rocks' is when I use to order my shit from the imternet. It seems that this is also the case from these previous relpies. Whenever I mixed up my own batches w/ sodium pellets and lactone but. I NEVER had a problem w/ the chemical form nor have I ever seen anybody come up w/ a solid solution or a 'crystal state'. With this, I think it is safe to say that these Internet companies have possibly 'different brewing' methods and possibly different chemical make-ups in the G. Again, no real sodium based GHB should look like that. Perhaps GBL or 1,4-but not the real stuff......

Tribulus, there is a difference between pharmaceutical GHB and the stuff you make with GHB kits.
Pharma GHB = GHB
GHB kit = Na-GHB
The Na is replaced with a H in Pharma GHB

pvc - £25 for 100 grams, but using a friends scale last time I got some it weighed out to 120grams, can't complain about that.
How much you paying?
Tribulus - I'll readily admit G isn't my area of expertise, but I belive this is the pharmaceutical variety. Simply because my source deals entirely in pharm. goods.
 
OK DJ-With this, what is the difference between Pharmaceutical G w/ the Na and the GHB brewed from home kits (sodium pellets/lactone)? Please explain the difference in terms of taste, quality and effects. I thought I was 'versed' in G and its chemical make-up/effects-obviously not....

Ebisumaru - i pay £20 4 approx the same.
Tribulous - the waxy rock gb tastes disgusting, smells disgusting, often has sediment floating around but has the same effect as the pharma gb. The latter tastes 'smoother' without a 'chemical' after-taste.
 
I don't know the difference in taste between GHB and Na-GHB simply because i've never tasted the pharma stuff.
What I do know is that I have had pure Na-GHB
which didn't taste disgusting, just salty.
I would think that GHB tastes i little less salty because it hasn't got a Na-atom attached, but that's just guessing.
Pharma GHB is more potent by weight, because an Na atom is heavier than a H atom.
The effects are the same, except that NaGHB dehydrates you (more), because of the Na.
Quality, well that depends on the dealer/brewer. But GHB and NaGHB/KGHB should be a white powder, either hard wax like rocks, or crystals, depends on the fact if you let it crystalize or not. The odor should not be strong, and the taste should be salty, but only salty. Ph should be around 8 by the way.

I beg to differ. There are different 'based' GHB forms-from Sodium which tastes extremely salty, to potassium based G which does not. Every time I have made G (pharma grade or not) I have come up w/ a solution that is salty and has NO chemical taste what so ever. I use a chem strip to test its acidity, where you say it should be 8.
Anyhow, from this dispute, I am left with confusion between the differences. Perhaps my 'home kits' I use to get 3 years ago are much different then kits that are sold today due to the extreme control and abuse of this substance. The majority of the sites/people I use to get the real stuff from have sadly disappeared and are probably getting ass-raped in the pen as I type this. God damn ravers....

Can anyone tell me where the chemical taste comes from then? Is it 'left-over' from some industrial cleaner when trying to extract the GBL out of it? The GHB we get also sometimes has a slight orange taste to it.

All a white powder or clear solution, it doesn't matter how it is made but the most common way is GBL + Na-/KOH. The chemical taste is probably GBL. Or else it's NaOH or salts formed by Na/K + vinegar or lemonjuice.
 
yeah - well thanx 4 that. We don't all have chemistry degrees and i want to know these things because i wanna be safe. So appreciate good advice and not slagging!
