GHB or what?

Recently a local hookup has been coming across what he tells me is GHB. Ive always known g to have an "old man's ball sweat" like taste =8 not that I know what an old mans ball sweat taste like...well except for this one time....
anyways, he describes his g as tasteing like alcahol and smelling like stomach acid. anyone know what this could be? GBL or maybe 1,4BDO?
 
Sounds like the ghb im used to - not much taste but has that 'burning' after-taste of strong alcohol & def smells like stomach acid!! The 1 im used to however is the industrial grade stuff that is made from a waxy rock substance.
 
Def not 1,4 BD - i know for sure that its GHB cos i know the manufacturer of it.
 
Tastes like alcohol and smells like stomach acid? NOT GHB. I know because I used to be *prescribed* it, I have been taking it for nearly eight years, I buy my GHB from a pharmacutical factory and when I don't get it from there I make it myself.
In the unlikely event that it has a burning aftertaste I suggest that you buy a Saturday night special and go shoot the manufacturer as he has fucked up what is perhaps the most simple illegal drug production process. My grandmother could make better GHB than that and she's been dead for 11 years. It's just a question of weighing out the right quantities of certain chemicals and then ****** ****** ******* ******* ********* (sorry but this is not the place to be posting GHB recipes - and don't bother emailing me for them either people).
Trust me, I know about GHB. If you can't work out how to make it yourself or get it from a pharm grade source you should not be taking it...

So there's no possible way it could be GBL or maybe just gbl with a high ph level? i have a few capsules, (for some reason the liquid dosen't dissolve the geletin) Is there any sure way of telling what this shit is? im going to do a ph test on it, at what level should it be?

you are correct in the ball sweat analogy for GHB. that's how i have always described it-not that i know what that tastes like either.
alcohol/stomach acid. sounds like GBL to me. doesn't taste like vodka or anything, maybe more like what i would imagine rubbing alcohol to taste like.

to me GHB and GBL have very distinctly different tastes. NEITHER of which will taste like alcohol or stomach acid.
 
The most profound taste of liquid GHB is a salt like taste. The other tastes to it never really impacted me. Just the overwhelming taste of a salty liquid.
Are there any Internet sites that still promote the do it yourself-at home kits?

Usually when you get G in a liquid, its NaGHB, which is a salt (which is why its dissolved in water). Depending on how concentrated it is, it can be unpleasantly salty.
Id be intrested to know how much G Harry was taking at a time, and in what volume. If it was a low dose in a large volume, maybe it didnt taste so bad. Ours used to be a full dose (~1.5g) in the volume of about a teaspoon... so it was really concentrated, and tasted awful.
 
For me, the taste of GBL i think of acethone or nailpolish remover.
Really Good GHB: seawater that has been in a bottle for 3 years...
