GHB?? - More than a date rape drug?

Solid GHB?

I've seen some of what is supossed to be GHB, it is a white waxy substance that smells kinda like ether. When it is diluted the solution has a salty taste but is more soapy than what I am used to, all the other GHB I've had came in liquid form and tasted more like chlorine than soapy (kinda like drinking chlorinated seawater). Does this sound normal for solid G? And if so, how many grams constitutes a recreational dose? I tried searching for this but the search engine doesn't allow for entries under three letters, which is kinda silly since so many chemicals are commonly referred to by three letter abbreviations.

I have heard of 'ghb' coming is a gooy lump before but I didnt try it personaly, pure ghb really should be a powder, a white, only lightly sented powder, which disovled easily in water and tastes slightly salty.

Im talking about the actual liquid G form you idiot, I'm not talking about dissolving G from powder into someones drink. I think I have a pretty good background of this drug considering I used to do it 24/7 for over 6 months... I have read up on it. GBL is not that different from GHB considering it changes into GHB once inside the body.

If you order GHB or GBL it usually comes in liquid form, I have only seen it in powder form once.

These salts are powders but are most often mixed with water for recreational use.

One of the major concerns with GHB is that the recreational dosage range is narrow and even small overdoses can cause temporary unrousable unconsciousness (a type of coma)

I don't know what kind of doctor would prescribe this. Or one that would keep you on it for 8 years. Not in the U.S. anywho….

There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug under medical supervision.

You're right. In the USA it is called Sodium Oxybate and is produced exclusively by Orphan Medical. Same drug, different name. The unbranded version is completely illegal. The branded American produced version is completely legal.

It's a salt! It has a rather strong taste. And the amount you'd need to knock somebody out is more than 5 grams. That much pure powder won't fit in a matchbox!

There are drugs much better to use for date rape than GHB. Hell even paracetamol would make a better date rape drug than GHB!

Hmmmm...in my opinion, slipping someone GBL, which is not an entirely different drug; I've had both and the difference in effects is almost unnoticeable, apart from the onset/comeup times, is not that difficult.

I'd never do it, but I venture that slipping someone 1ml of GBL into a glass of whiskey can't be that hard, and the synergy with alcohol would be more than enough to knock him/her out.

5 grams in solution is really not a lot volume wise. It wouldn't be a reason not to use it. 5 Grams of water is not very much, be it salt water or not.

GHB would be convenient because it is so often sold in a clear solution. It is not terribly bitter unlike some drugs. It can be added to drinks quickly, and discreetly. It is fast acting, and short lived.

Crushing up a pill and adding it to a drink is a pain…. All those binders and fillers… coloring, not to mention the bitter taste.

if you're saying putting 5 grams of fucking SODIUM in a drink is less of a hassle than crushing up a small pill and putting it in a drink, you've never handled pure GHB. It tastes like SALT. add 5 GRAMS OF SALT to a glass of anything and the taste will be unmistakble even by a drunkard...
