GHB - Inexperienced - Never again warning

It was his first time taking GHB?

Holy fuck :(

(I know this is a mighty short report, but GHB warnings can never be spoken enough.)
 
This report sounds pretty fake..

Taking two "swigs" from the bottle is fucking irresponsible and stupid, BUT, GHB has a distinct taste even when watered down, it either tastes like licorice or it has a salty taste, depending on the conversion it went through. I don't understand your friend was sober and made this decision, while not even noticing he had swallowed GHB instead of water..

Then, on to the vomiting.. That's extremely dangerous, don't get people something to drink when they're passing out or on the verge of being unconscious. Their gag reflex doesn't work anymore on GHB, so swallowing stuff becomes very hard, they could VERY EASILY die suffocating on the drink or their vomit, so keep that in mind.

Next, the supposed "brain damage".. Those doctors don't sound like they know what they're talking about. If the guy was sober, only had GHB, nothing else, then the risk of dying isn't that great, neither is having brain damage (are there even cases of brain damage with large doses of GHB..?). The only thing that might happen is that his breathing is so supressed that it could kill him, but GHB in combination with other CNS depressants is more likely to do that, GHB on it's own is preeetty safe. I don't understand from what the brain damage could stem, but maybe someone else knows..

What you emphasized in red is very smart though.
 
^^I interpreted the post to mean that the person in question felt like they had brain damage, not that the doctor specifically said that was the direct result.

Also, was it GHB or 1,4.b definitively?

And vis a vis the taste, blowmonkey makes a good point, but the nature of people is often to do stupid things, including not noticing a flavour or taste (particularly if they're really high already).

Even if this is a gyp, the message is awfully valid nonetheless.
 
I dont think that this is fake. I guess ur furend must have known that this was GHB. Many people collapse when they OD from downers. On that talk show Montel some girl went into a coma for a long time after taking ketamine. Look at the damage that fentanyl caused. Quite simply your friend must have had a dramatic OD, or combined his G with alcohol. Dont ask for a detailed scientific explanation, but the latter is well known to be uncompromisingly dangerous and makes speed balls look safe in comparison.
 
1,4 BDO isn't rather tasty (about the same taste as GBL has), it's also a larger amount of liquid as opposed to GHB, believe me, you will notice. But yeah, I was pretty quick to turn this off as a fake, it's just not very well put together..

You've got to explain some things more thoroughly in your report, Weed is a deed, mainly the following:
1) How much is "2 swigs" approximately?
2) Did he drink the water you gave him when he asked for it?
3) On what side was he lying when he was vomiting (e.g. back, side)?
4) Did the doctors gave a reason behind their logic; why he was 5 minutes away from death (I assume because of suffocation, liquid in the lungs)?
5) What do you mean with "brain damage"..?

1. Like two big sips, not sure on dose
2. When he said water, I think he was dehydrated and yes I did give the EMT'S had two bottled waters, and my friend also got him a glass but he couldnt drink it down.
3.He was laying on his right side and we made sure he wasnt choking on vomit
4.Suffocation, and also slight liquid in lungs
5. He has trouble saying words Studder's and also cant recall long term things.

If he was in a bad shape by then it was probably not such a great idea.. He could've drowned, sounds stupid, but it's certainly not..

And yeah, that's weird about him stuttering and all, could be brain damage, could be not.. He should get to a doctor for some better advice.
 
GHB isnt something you take a "swig" of. You need to carefully measure the dose (2.5g might make you high, but 3.5g can make you vomit and make unconscious).

Keep it safe with G and it is one of the most amazing substances. (especially for comedowns)
 
I'm still not convinced about this report, but it serves as a good warning, so it can stay here for the while....

Dident people pass out from this all the time when it was being used to date rape? They dident die or have any brain damage.

How do you know? Have you looked at the statistics?

I havn't seen the statistics myself (so if u have a url for them please share) but i'm betting that when this drugs is used to facilitate date rape, it does sometimes result in brain damage / death.
 
Just to add my 2 cents as if people haven't said the same things already.. You need to know the drug you are using as well as your body, and know them WELL! Test your personal reactions to each drug with low doses, working your way up. There is no need to rush into getting "all fucked up" just because you feel like it for the night. If you want to do that, do it with something you are quite familiar with. Christ, GHB is very easy to overdose on, and it is also very easy to find that information. Do some damn research.

I like GHB by itself if only taken in small doses. Here most people will fill the cap full of ghb on a water bottle or something and take one at a time. I have found that doing this, or maybe even a bit less at a time is a better way to find your preferred dose.
 
Bullshit, one swig of g would taste bad enough to know not to take another no matter how fucked up u are.. and brain damage? yeah right!

That's like doing a trip report on having 3 beers minus the hangover.

Oh yeah, and I guess the differences would be:

- no hangover
- good sleep
- feel horny.
- more euphoria

GHB by itself is, for me, almost exactly the same as having 3 beers and 1mg ativan.
