Benzos GHB/BDO and benzo pharmacokinetics?

First, I know this can easily be a deadly combination in high doses. I am aware of how dangerous this could be.

I am wondering just how much the benzo would potentiate the GHB, because GHB is mainly a GABAb agonist and is only a weak GABAa agonist.

Anyone have any experience mixing GHB or BDO with benzos?

it is not that simple but in general dangerous combo as affinity is f.e. for clonazepam higher than for diazepam still it is playing with fire so which benzo is and do you have any tolareance?

I have major tolerance. My gaba receptors are fried. I certainly wouldn't even be thinking of this combo if I didn't have major tolerance going into it.

Yeha I mixed BDO with benzos, being tolerant to both. It's dangerous please don't do it, keep the benzos when you run out of BDO.

BDO/GHB wd are no joke you really gonna need the benzos there

I overdosed on this combo. I had 2mls of G which is a small dose for me then a couple valiums 3 hours after my last dose of G and ODd on a train and got arrested with a bunch of benzos on me. I'll never do it again.

I was curious, GHB halflife is pretty short, and even for someone with no tolerance a couple of valiums isn't very much, so I did a bit of research and hadn't even realised that "Emergency medicine literature consistently warns that GHB + benzos is one of the highest‑risk depressant combinations, even when not taken simultaneously"

Why the risk remains high at the 2‑hour mark​

At 2 hours after GHB:

• GHB CNS effects are still present (even if blood levels are falling)
• GABA‑B activation is ongoing
• Respiratory drive is still suppressed
• Sedation and motor impairment persist
• Nonlinear elimination means some people clear GHB slower than expected
• Diazepam onset is fast, so the depressant overlap is immediate

This is pharmacodynamic stacking, not just pharmacokinetic overlap.

Thanks for the warning. I was planning on using 1ml BDO which is equivalent to 1.4g of GHB salt. I will avoid directly combining them. I've already had a lot of unexpected blackouts from GHB itself

I was using 1,4b. I had the valium well after my last dose of G and someone had to press the emergency stop button on the train. The overdose happened about 1.5 hours after I took the valium.

My partner had the valium on him. I woke up as the paramedics were arriving. The police were also waiting outside the train. They immediately searched me, found the valium. Which was a significant blow to me as I have a criminal record and there were also a lot of very angry people in the train. My partner was beside himself as I was completely out, apparently CPR had been performed on me. The doses of both drugs were basically 1/3 of a usual dose for me, and dosed 3 hours apart. I was also very high on meth so I just want to warn you that I don't think there is a safe way to do this combo full stop.
May I ask you what you are trying to achieve?

I was under the impression that the G had worn off and I was coming down hard from the meth so I was using the valium to ease my comedown and it ended very badly. I thought it was jail for me but thank god I only got a fine but the whole experience sucked and my intention was not to experience the effects of both drugs, it was simply to come down.
I don't think G/1,4B and benzos would be even slightly enjoyable.
If you do decide to go through with this I would take th G first and don't take benzos for at LEAST 4 hours after your last G dose, even if you feel sober because that's exactly what I did and after 20 years of using just about all common drugs and most of the rares drugs/RC's and always knowing exactly what I was doing, this was completely unexpected and could have killed .
And pls don't use a full dose of benzos. Stagger your dose, take 1/3 your dose then 1/3 each hour after that.

Think this stands out for me as the classic upper + downer issue:- when the upper masks/counters the downer effect and then the upper wears off. If you're stacking downers then it leaves you in an unknown position once the upper wears off. Not to say doing GHB + Benzo's is safe though.

I enjoy GHB occasionally and love it sometimes with coke or mephedrone, but I dose specifically for the combo (lighter on the GHB than usual) and time my redose hourly so I never overdo the GHB (I also log what I take). I never mix GHB with Alcohol or Benzos, think that's a key HR principle as OP noted.

I always start slow and titrate up when doing new combos, personally though I would just avoid this GHB + Benzo combo, too many horror stories out there. There's safer ways to get the effect you want.

May I ask you what you are trying to achieve?

Nothing in particular. I believe the pressed bars I have are clobromazolam which has a half life comparable to valium, which is why I asked.

I have also been irresponsible with G in the past and have experienced unexpected unconsciousness before.

I wont be using them on the same day.
