ill start off by saying i have tried many different illegal and legal drugs and ive battled anhedonia my entire life..anhedonia for those that dont know is the inability to experience pleasure..now, if you do some reading on it, almost everyone points to it as a symptom of depression but in my case, anhedonia seems to be separate from depression..i noticed back when i used to take ghb that my anhedonia would be almost instantly abolished, i felt more energetic, motivated than i ever have before..talking to people felt rewarding like it never has, empathy was increased..people will chine in and say thats because im 'high' and thats why anhedonia is relieved but they are wrong as no other drugs works as well as ghb as far as anhedonia is concerned..alcohol and benzos, stimulants seem to increase my anhedonia but ghb eliminates it for 3-4 hours..why is this?
why is Ghb so motivating as well?i have taken several anti-depressants and none of them have lessened my anhedonia and increased motivation like ghb..i know ghb is no cure but it worked much better than everything else so...what makes it work so well in several key areas(anhedonia, motivation, social drive)??
