You were not getting anything better then what they gave you.. if anything, giving an "accurate" number helped you MORE as it looked like you were telling the truth and not trying to script them for something more powerfull..
Vicodin is common in the ER, usually a scipt for 10-20 and one or two for the ride home - if you don't have a physically obvious symptom then you're not going to get anything stronger - such as an oxycodone containing drug..

It's the 21st in the country where the BL servers are located... see, this thing called the "International Date Line" .. this line is somewhere, um, over there and when that line passes the equator with the moons equanox, it becomes another day.. so because of the latitude of the northern hemisphere and it's southern most point at the west end of the 47th line of longitude, it is therefore ALWAYS the 21st in the 7th deminson - does this answer your question? Sorry if I wasnt clear, but I am a time major and sometimes I can't break it down in laymens terms that good!

Well, my GF was in a car accident and was in some serious pain. The ER docs gave her 2 vics and 100 mg of Demerol IM. She was still hurting when we left and all the doc gave for a script was 15 7.5 Lortab! Sorry #$@#er!
By the way, when I was 15 I had my wisdom teeth removed: IV Demerol and Valium plus a script for 15 Percs. Sad thing: This was 20 years ago, I didn't hurt after the surgery and pitched them out!
I guess that is a sign of the times.

My friend broke her leg and the doctor set it wrong and it healed incorrectly. Well to make a long story short she ended up having it re-broken and physical therapy. Let's just say she was my own personal pharmacist for a while *grin*

Regardless of the number you give, they are not going to give you anything much stronger then hydrocodone unless you have some noticible physical injuries, as I said, you were probably rewarded for your honesty...

Huh? You were mad? WHY? 15 7.5mg Lortab was VERY GENEROUS.. I am beginning to understand why ER doctors are a bad place to cop pain meds from - to many dope fiends that have the attitude of "for my ER visit you will stock my shelves with narcotics" .. you guys attitudes makes you stand out as obvious scripters...
The function of an ER doctor is to get you feeling better and supply you with enough dope to get youto your regular doctor, now, if you want to "get high" you will need to take 3-5 of those 7.5mg Lorries, but to kill pain, thats more then enough to get you to your doctor ..

The nurse comes in asks me how i feel on a scale from 1-10 and gives me a good narcotic for honesty due to the fact that i was honest..
So if i would have said a 10 they would have given me a narcotic as if i would have said 2?

And i dont really want anything more powerful than hydrocodone...
At least not really ill give anything a go

If you said "oh, it's a 10" they might have given you less, as a lot of people think "if I say 10 they will give me the most powerfull narcotic" .. if you were able to walk in on your own power, then it's foolish to say you have that great a level of pain.. that "pain scale" is used not just to gauge pain, but to weed out scripters...

I looked like i was in pain and I WAS
the fucking anastegeoloy doctor (however it is spelled) fucked up on draining my stomach of blood after the surgery and i had a ulzer on my arr whats it called.. the red ball thing that hangs in yer mouth? Ya know what it is
Anyways i was coughing up blood every 2 minutes, and i couldnt walk on my own i would collapse...
I dont think they would have given me much more then Vicodin or anything though yer prolly right... but Hey its worth a shot

When I burned my hands last year, the doctor gave me a vicodin prescription. If you've ever had a bad burn, you know the pain is almost unbearable. Vicodin wasn't strong enough at all.
Because my body was building a tolerance, I could only wash the wounds every other day, and by the end of the week I was taking 4 at one time, so I could wash the burns without screaming.
So, I was being totally honest. I needed something stronger or something that I wouldn't build up a tolerance to so fast.
Well, the doctor said she could hook me up with Tylenol with codeine. Yeah, sure. She absolutely would not prescribe anything stronger, and when I told her I was taking 4 at a time, she got all bent outta shape. She thought I was a fuckin' raving lunatic for taking that much vicodin. Then I told her about my friend Russell (I mentioned his junkie ass earlier) who takes 15 at a time and I seriously thought she was going to call the police! She fuckin' flipped out me!
Anywayz ... the moral of the story. In my hospital experience they absolutely wouldn't prescribe anything stronger than vicodin and my hands had some pretty bad burns. 2nd degree and some spots were close to 3rd degree burns.
If you look around though, I'm sure you can find 'em on the street. As I've found out recently, if you look for them ... they will come!

PhreeX, One important point I left out...this accident happened 3 PM on Friday. By the time we left the ER it was 7 PM. We could not call her regular docter until Monday. So, 15 was not adequate for the weekend. I had to take her back to the ER on Sunday. Still, the pain she was in was significant enough that she was STILL hurting with 100 mg of Demerol. Why would he not give her something stronger? Stupidity. Why should ONE person suffer needlessly to prevent 50 from getting stoned. If people want to fake injuries for drugs big deal.

Regarding wisdom teeth - the most common age for them to be removed is 17-19. And most docs nowadays, if they are worth the peice of paper their doctorates is written on will highly recommend you getting them removed. Wisdom teeth continue to move around for a long time after they come in completely unlike your other teeth. So your wisdom teeth may come in perfectly (like mine) but over the course of 10-20 years, they'll shift around and seriously fuck up your mouth. Not too mention they are hard to clean really well so they rot quick and you'll have them pulled by the time your 40 anyways.
BUT! like Phreex I got the ketamine/fentanyl/Versed IV drip and wow, that was the best little treat I could have ever hoped to receive. I was in heaven for like 30 mins. And like I said my wisdom teeth came in perfectly so they just had to pluck out my teeth. I was feeling high on life for like the rest of the day. Though I lost out in the end because I only scored like 30 vics - but when your 18 and have never taken opiates before - well they are heaven on earth!
The moral of the story is: GET YOUR WISDOM TEETH REMOVED. If there is one time in life for good opiates - it's your wisdom teeth.

When I was 18 I had my wisdoms pulled. I still have the x-ray, the fuckers where growing straight into the teeth next to them (T-boned you could say!). Fortunate for me they weren't errupted. However for the operation they gave me some shot of something that knocked me out. I woke-up with the wisdoms missing. I remember getting a script for Vicodin, of which I took two every four hours as prescribed by the Dental Surgeon for about four days. But back in them days I wasn't a "Head" like I'm now. I remember the day my mom threw what was left of the bottle away, noting the expiration date had passed.
I also had an ear infection several months back which yielded a bottle of 30 5/500s Vicodin. The ear infection itself wasn't that painful, however when the opportunity presents itself, you would be a fool not to get some type of pain killers. About a month after that in the same ear I would get this loud popping sound when I would talk or eat. This in itself wan't painful either, however a trip to the doctor yielded another 15 5/500s. My first and only script scam to date.
Then there was that time I got Percs for Fracturing my Sternum in a car wreck.
