Getting rid of physical dependancies!

RA282155435CN

I'm getting rid of physical addiction from tramadol again.

I switched from ~400mg/day to 150 today, zero w/d and I even still got high =D , Today I used Tilidine and I'm gonna use it to get off the trams it but have only 30x150mg of those. I'll give myself 2 more days to stabilize on 150mg tramadol after today then I'll make the full switch to tilidine. I just wanna get rid of the physical addiction of tramadol so I can stop using it daily. I have before, and I feel like doing it again for atleast a while. Concider it a "time-out" or something. hehe.

When I was addicted to them for ~a year @ 800mg/day, those were really the worst two weeks of my life. I was bedridden for two weeks, shivering, puking, sweating, having brain zaps and diarrhea, etc.

But I'm sure that if I get w/d's they'll be much much easier on me because I've been using less, and I have been taking these breaks from time to time and the w/ds are never that bad, so I kinda know already I'm gonna succeed :) The tilidine is a great help when I'm taking one of these breaks, it makes withdrawing so easy. I only have 29x150mg left though, but I'll probably get a refill before I run out. :p When I'm off the tramadol and only taking tilidine I can just stop taking it and I won't even feel the difference, it's amazing in that regard.

More importantly I'm gonna attempt to go to 0mg diazepam for the first time. I did a taper from ~300mg to 10mg successfully in only a few weeks time 6 months ago, that was not pretty.. But this time I'm gonna take it more slowly.

But when I got to 10 I just stopped. Now I'm gonna see if I'm finally ready. I'll be tapering at 2,5mg increments every two weeks. I feel ready.. But am I?

It sounds like you're going into this with a positive mindset. Try to hold on to that and quitting will be easier. All the best! <3

Thanks for the best wishes. :)

Been neglecting it for a bit, because I did some acid last weekend. So I did "emergency" break off of tramadol. (2 days no tramadol before & after my trip), now I'm back @150. Making full switch to tilidine tomorrow. Should be easy.

Or you could say that I've been doing a good job, quitting those 4 days, to drop some 'cid, lol.

Today was my 2nd day @7.5mg, don't feel a difference. I'm hoping this doesn't change but I'm guessing it will. No pain no gain I guess. :)

Mild w/ds. Nothing too bad. Soon I'm dropping my dose again. (Fri or saturday.)
Ah btw, my phys. dependency to tramadol is gone. 150mg is pretty easy to kick vs 800mg :)

Gonna try a (few) beer(s) to see if that helps. At the very least it'll tickle my GABA receptor, in a good way.

This is turning out to be easier than I thought. I even forgot to take my valium this morning. Then I remembered, not because of w/ds. I just remembered I forgot to take it. Aw crap it's saturday. I was gonna go to 5mg today. :( Well, tomorrow then.

Insomnia sucks. Oh well, I'm making the best of it. I'm not only addicted to using drugs, but also to watching movies/series. So I'll use my sleepless nighttime for that, lol. =D

Right now I'm watching house md (I had seen the last 2 seasons but never the first 6). Before that I watched: Game of thrones, Rome, Spartacus, Deadwood, The walking dead, Breaking bad, and some others I'm forgetting right now.

Last two movies I saw were "Shaun of the dead" (I hadn't seen it yet) and "get the gringo" (a comedy prison flick).
If I started listing more I'd be busy all day. :D

Today will be my last day @5mg, after that I'll have 10 days to stabilize on 2,5mg and then I'm ready to quit. :)

edit: oh by the way, recommendations for movies, or especially series are always welcome. Hehe.

Day 1 @2,5mg diazepam.

By the way I've picked up the tramadol again since I ran out of tilidine a couple of days ago. The tramadol relaxes me a little and keeps the w/ds to a minimum. I don't care if I have to take another tolerance break off of tramadol again after this (probably with w/ds). As long as I get off the benzos it's all worth it.

Third day @2,5mg diazepam. I slept 2 hours on average each night, but I got the feeling that my w/ds are starting to decrease. I have 7 more days to stay on this dose, and after that.. Well I'll have to wait and see what happens. I might go to zero sooner and then take 2,5mg every 2 days before I completely stop. Depends on howlong I'll feel the withdrawals from being on 2,5mg.
