Getting powder into a capsule

i'm interested in putting powder into a capsule for use outside of the crib. don't really know a good method. if someone's got one post it.

roll a piece of paper into a cone and use that

I use the old glass plate / razor blade combo. The trick is to push the cap down on the plate to get as much of it flat against the plate as possible. Then just push the powder in with the blade. For larger caps, you'll need to upright the cap and give it a few taps to let the powder settle inside.

Use a straw.

^^ this. With the end of straw beveled so you can scoop the powder. Like you do for filling stamp bags.

Scoop made from a straw or a small triangle of cardboard to scoop it in.

I usually will put it on a business card with the powder near the end of one side then fold it and tilt it at a very steep angle into the capsule.
