Getting People to Try new Drugs

OK, i know this should probalby be in either Other Drugs or social, but like the people OD a lot and it is a multi-drug question so here it goes...
Ive got a friend who I smoke with whose cool/open-minded, but has only smoked weed and drank, and really isnt into other drugs...I really want to roll with him/his GF&mine cuz i think they'd have a lot of fun and their really cool people to get fuct up with...
The thing is, their both "afriad" of new things, and have the "Pots barely a drug" kind of mentality, which is cool but iwant to try new drugs with them, without forcing them to do it...
The MDMA i got has been tested and bought in bulk so its all the same, and i could educate them on it before hand...BUT ive gotten in trouble once a couple years ago with LSD, and they know about it so my opinions may be not worst as much new drug wise anymore...
LSD would be fun, but like i said before, theyre probably afriad of it...and Foxy would make me look like a druggy to much in their eyes im sure....
im also afraid it'd be awkward or whatever if they decide not too, though im prety sure theyll love it if they do decide to. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot PPL

If they are "afraid" of these things, then DEFINITLY avoid the psychedelics like LSD and 5-MeO-DiPT - they would almost certinly have a bad trip... but MDMA is the gateway you should go with... try to educate them as best you can, but if they are being ignorant and REALLY dont want to, well, there isn't much you can do.. one of my ex-girlfriends friends was afrid to roll - couldn't convince her, so eventually my ex just gave her a pill, told her it was a "diet pill that would give her energy" ... she took it, and her life forever changed for the better!

i wouldn't suggest tricking them into trying it...but yeah...try educating them about it and maybe even set an example for them...maybe make an example out of yourself...like roll in front of them...that's how my brother got into E...he saw his friends rolling and thought to himself "it doesn't look bad at all, looks like fun"...just let them know that all the negative effects like brain damage can be avoided with proper care and ask them why they think all these ravers and everbody else are doing it...and if u decide to roll in front of them...try to emphasize how good yer feeling...even though when it comes down to it...it's still their decision...

A diet pill?! Hahaha, that's funny as hell. No doubt though- if you're going to convert them over you need to go for the roll. And not a shitty pill; make sure they roll face and never want to come down. It's the ultimate gateway drug. They'll be open to everything after that, from psychadelics and pharmaceuticals to sex with farm animals. Well, maybe not THAT extreme, but you get the picture. And they'll have you to thank

That's pretty extreme don't you think? I would think being brutally raped in the ass until death is worse than giving somone ecstasy without them knowing. Just a thought.

MDMA was nerver made to be an appetite suppressant .....But that was still funny...

This chemical was discovered in 1912 by Merck. MDMA was a byproduct of a synthesis of hydrastinin; Merck was looking for a good vasoconstrictive substance to use as a styptic, to stop bleeding, and when they stumbled across this chemical in their synthesis, as any good chemical company would do, they patented their finding. Of note, at the time of the patent application, there was no use specified for MDMA. It was never considered for marketing by Merck, and was never marketed as an appetite suppressant by Merck or anyone else.

yep. those people deserve a headshot.
anyways, talking someone into drugs is something i will never do again. i didnt really cause any major harm, though i think its stupid.
infoming someone about a drug from an objective point of view without too much weight on the pro arguments is the only way to go. let people decide for themselves.
even if you have known a person for years, you can NEVER tell if he/she can handle it (esp. psychedelics) or maybe even becomes an addict.
its a very sensitive topic, i strongly recommend against talking someone into it - the consequences are mostly unknown and can be highly unpleaseant (sp?) and dangerous.

Hehe, my drug text book wants to battle your online source. It's called Drugs and Society, and it says:
"The patent for MDMA was first issued in 1914 to E. Merck in Darmstadt, Germany, as an appetite suppressant. No pharmaceutical company has ever manufactured MDMA for public marketing, and the FDA has never approved it for therapy."
It goes on to state when it was first discovered on the streets, and how psychiatrists had been using it from the late 70's until 1985 when it became a Schedule I drug.
So I guess it was patented as an appetite suppressant but never marketed as one.
Does this mean he does or doesn't get sodomized???

MDMA was never sold as a "diet pill", "appetite suppressant" or anything else... it was just a chemical intermediate with no specific use, the dit pill story is just a myth... but anyway, looks like this is one for bluelight disc..
