Getting old heroin from used supplies

This is really about waste not, want not. I have old filters that are pretty brown and I'm withdrawing pretty badly. I stuck two of them together, put them in a spoon, put in a lot of water, and proceeded to burn the spoon for an extended period. This seemed to rustle some of the heroin particles from the filter and I managed to pull a 50 cc shot of some really pale water. I injected it and about a minute later I could taste the dope in the back of my throat and I feel marginly better.

I still have the cotton filters. Any advice on what I should do next?

Find some dope? There's no more in the cottons, if that's what you're asking.

Don't use them. Any amount of heroin still in the cotton is not worth any of the vast number of complications you could get from injecting bacteria into your body.

Throw those old cottons away my friend. Since there isn't any harm reduction is using old cottons, I'm going to close this.
