I would first like to say how grateful I am to all these wonderful contributing members that make up the bluelight community! Your advice has helped me, your stories have touched me, your jokes have put smiles on my face, and, to be honest, you guys have in one way or another saved me from suicide.

With that said, now to my question:

QUESTION: should one get needles online?

Background: Can no longer go to the pharmacy which I purchased my needles. Only possibility is to have them delivered. I use ebay a lot and so it was my first solution, however I thought I would check in with you all on this, since the last thing I want is to buy from the wrong place, considering I am putting these directly into my bloodstream. Thank you.

There's a link to a site I found where you can BD insulin syringes by the 100. You can poke around google more if you want.

Did you have an incident with every pharmacy in town? Goto Walmart. They are cheap and don't discriminate.

Syringe exchanges are in a lot of places these days too. Can't beat free.

Around here (in KY, close to Cincinnati, OH), its extremely tough to go into any pharmacy, even walmart and be sold needles, Ive been told its up to the staff at the pharmacy, and if a person 'looks' like a junkie, or they see track marks, they will refuse to sell needles to that person...I dont think that right, I mean, if they would sell clean needles, they would be doing public safety a bunch of good...but since our Govt does not truly care about public health and safety when it comes to street drugs, they may say they do and may claim this is the reason why they are illegal, but when you see places refusing to sell clean needles to heroin users, that tells me, they dont care about anyones health or safety, instead they just want to arrest as many people as possible for ANY drug related offense.

IMO, the drug problem is a medical issue, since it is a disease, I believe law enforcement should have ZERO involvement in trying to control the drug problem...Ive always wondered why law enforcement doesnt start trying to control people with other medical diseases though...I mean, they go after drug addicts like crazy, just so they can throw them in jail...??? makes no sense to me.

I think their TRUE interest in controlling and harassing drug users, is due to all the money involved and dealers dont pay any taxes on their income, i think this is the main reason why there are drug laws to begin with...I mean, they wont sell clean needles to addicts, yet will sell them to other people with OTHER diseases..?? WTF?

I made a thread called "how to get needles mega thread"

I think the links were deleted as per forum rules?

Anyways I have injected myself thousands of times

I quit

I am in hell

Take this opportunity to get clean if you can, and if not PM me and we can talk

If you're close to a major city, there has to be an exchange nearby. Most exchanges do a 1 for 1 exchange, so you can easily build up to get hundreds at a time, offsetting any potential gas getting to the exchange.

I used to have to travel an hour a way to an exchange for years, until one opened nearby. I used to have to leave work early so I missed the exchange often. Those were some horrible times using bad needles.

But, yeah... the average person doesnt understand the concept of harm reduction. To them, anything that enables a user to use is bad.

Ahh, that's unfortunate you can't go to the pharmacy. We have site locations all over the city where I live..for needle exchange… just different times depending on the day. I do not know it they deliver though. :\

you can get them online from a medical supply website, box of 100 delivered about 30-40 bucks. Never share or re-use ever necessary when you have a box of freshies :)

Not sure what the incident was that prevents you from legally obtaining products that are for sale to the general public but I always put on some nice clothes (it helps that I'm a white male), a pair of glasses (nerdier the better) and have a list written down saying what you need. Tell the pharmacist 'you don't know much about this stuff' but your grandfather wanted you to pick up the following - then hand them the list.

I've never had an issue using this method.

Some cities/states require a prescription to purchase syringes, like insulin for example.

Getting em ONline is prob best or a pack for 5$ at a pharmacy in my area sells it but everywhere rules are different. Some places it is near impossible to get a syringe.

Since it is in the best interest in harm reduction, which this site is for.
Links to buy syringes from a legit source, is NOT the same as sourcing for drugs of course. I would like to point that out to people.
HR supply links are allowed by BL and should always be. There is absolutely no sourcing or linking for drugs/meds etc. because the best harm reduction concerning those is NOT making sure someone gets pure or safe drugs that have even been tested tho it is sometimes thought that by people who make themselves believe it. The FACT is the best harm reduction for drugs/non rx'd meds is TO NOT GET THEM OR OBTAIN THEM AT ALL NEVER MIND EVEN USING THEM.

A LEGIT source for syringes can be found through a google search of course, but how is one to know if a source is legit even if they look professional and state they are.
You need people who know and have verified that the source is legit, that info is also available on websites for reviews which you can find through google.
Unfortunately those sites can be easily used by the sources and they can make reviews about themselves posing as customers making positive reviews about themselves and recommending themselves to others, so therefore looking for reviews online is a good way to check but is not the BEST way to know for sure if the source is legit.

Enough, rambling.
In the past i was a IV user, thank god i have beaten that.
I should first tell you IVing yourself is not safe, I could try to talk you out of doing it all day and night, but for those who will do it anyways regardless of advice to not, it is important they do it safely as possible. Read up on proper techniques if you have yet to do so and learn as much as possible, get as much as possible all the proper IVing tools required, syringes are only one of the tools, get alcohol swabs to sterilize the site before and never use it to either wipe the blood afterwards or use it as a compress until the blood stops, alcohol will cause it to only bleed longer and make it take longer to close. That is what either sterile gauze is for or if unavailable a tissue is better than an alcohol swab post injection.

This LEGIT website carries most of the needed tools for proper IV and of course STERILE syringes.
Be sure to get the alcohol swabs they offer and the biohazard labeled container to safely dispose of used syringes.

After all that here is the link.

<snip>

they were my trusted source for many years and recommended to me by many.

Have fun.
Stay safe.
HR first.

, or they see track marks, they will refuse to sell needles to that person...I dont think that right

WTF? So if I was there any needed needles, I couldn't buy needles because I have track marks from injecting medication? The medication is why I would need needles in the first place. I don't understand how things work in certain areas of the US.

I've noticed most chains will not sell them unless you have a prescription(tryed to buy at walgreens and a few other and couldn''t get anything. But pharmacies that are not chains are no prolbem, they sell them ten in a pack...sucks when they run outta your size, I usually use a 30 gauge and all they had was 28...guese I'm not used them as much and it caused me to miss a shot of Suboxone of all things, but ya check out a pharmacy that's not owned by a chain(some chains may sell them I don't kno). But I would rather get them online, so I don't end up with the ones with the bigger needles and can always get the size I want, can't stand if I can't find a vein and I'm just tryin over and over with the big ass needle, ugh.

Medication injections dont usually cause track marks. Not all meds go IV, some go into the skin/muscles. You dont usually inject meds so often every day that you cant heal. Track marks are from constant usage of the same spot and not letting it heal and collapsing the vein.

What are the little red marks and bruises along my veins called then? They eventually heal, but some take a long time.

What country is this in? You can get 20 a time as often as you like for nothing here, as well as all other injecting gear I.e citric, swabs, water, filters, sharps bin etc.
