Got my next 2 hours tattoo session tomorrow (I'm getting a sleeve done) and was wondering whether it's alright if I've had Oxycodone before hand.

I know you're not supposed to drink because it thins your blood but will oxycodone be alright to have before I'm inked.

Cheers BL.

Don't think there'll be any complications, if anything it might help with the pain. Just as long as you got the design etc. all ready beforehand, I can imagine some sort of scenario where you're so wasted that you get the wrong design inked in =D

It will be fine... Lol I had two friends in my oxycontin stage who were both addicted to it as well... One was a tattoo artist and one was the one always getting tattooed by the other one. Everything worked out fine and the tattoos came out amazing. Even the tattoo artist would get tatted high by other people and it was fine.

Legally you're just asking for trouble.

Pharmacologically, there shouldn't be a problem (and in fact this is my plan for when the opportunity arises).

You cannot legally sign documents while under the influence of mind and conscious altering chemicals. This is why people on painkillers and / or alcohol (the latter also thins blood) are typically not allowed to get tattoo work done.

While inebriated no legal documents can be signed, regardless of circumstance. It wouldn't hold in court (and could potentially screw the tattoo artist over).

This is what it looks like so far by the way

You.

Meaning if he fucks up, you can lawyer up and say that he allowed blah blah and he's fucked.

Also - that outlining looks quite good. Nice ink!

If I were to ever get a tattoo, which I highly doubt, I would definitely employ an opioid or a dissosciative for the pain/apprehension.

This has gotten off-topic enough, please direct your social chatter to the BDD Social thread.

I'm going to close this thread, plus contact me via PM if you have any questions.
