Ok I apologize if this is covered somewhere already but I used the search engine and found nothing helpful...
So I take methadone which has a pretty long half life. I only use it once or twice a week. Therefore, a day after popping the pills I am not high, but certainly feel no wd symptoms whatsoever. A day or two later I start feeling mild wd (sneezing, chills/hot flashes, mild depression). I am curious if:
Will I get higher using when I am still feeling well from my previous dose?
Or will I get higher using after a 5-6 days of mild sickness?
My thoughts are that when you are sick, a certain amount of your opiate of choice just brings you to normal. The rest will get you high. So when you pop a bunch of pills when you are sick, it won't get you as high as if you were well. I know this logic is probably flawed which is why I am asking for opinions here. Thanks so much for the help, I am sure there are users other than me that could appreciate some opinions/discussion about this...
