Getting Back On Suboxone

Hey guys. So basically, i relapsed around 39 hours ago now back onto IV heroin use. I ended up using about .2 grams, maybe a bit over, which was around what i used to pick up every time. I used it once it had been 40 + hours off of subs. Now, ive been trying to research how long i should wait to take my 4mg of subs to avoid pricip. w/d? I have looked at a few threads on this site discussing this, but i felt my situation might be a little different, seeing i only used once after six months of taking subs. As i have said, its been around 39 hours since i last used, and when i had my induction, i only had to wait 24 hours before taking subs, and i was fine. I have also downloaded the COWS induction flow sheet, but to be honest, w/d aren't even that bad right now. From other threads, i got the impression that it's best to wait until you're in moderate to severe withdrawal before you take subs to ensure that pricip. w/d are avoided. Finally, i have been looking at the BA rates for subs, and i thought that since my induction was 12 mgs 6 months ago, and that now i only have the availability of 4 mgs per day, that i might snort my first dose or two in 1mg lines, once an hour, for four hours. Now to be honest, if its not going to really matter, and i'll feel alright if i take it orally, i'll probably just stick to that. so yeah, any feedback would be awesome!
 
Hey Desolate<3 Welcome to BL.. I thank the stars above that you made it through that.. ive had to many friends that slipped away on the first shot of a relapse. Are you getting back on the subs because you feel you will continue to use? If not then there is no reason for you to take it as you are not going to get sick. What precipitated you relapse? It sounds like you are doing good and not doing anything crazy like beating yourself up.. We are drug addicts and I hate to say it but we relapse.. the thing is now whats the best plan.. and more important what could you do different in the future to prevent this.. so what are your thoughts?
 
Thanks nsa! And, yeah im pretty much going to take it as i am worried about using still. Just in a lot of stress, because if i dont get a certain job, i lose my place, which ive already given two weeks for. I know using is probably the worst reaction, but hey, that seems to be what i do. so yeah, the plans are me staying on subs for a bit. also, i have been living very isolated lately, and not doing much, so lots of free time tends to fuck me up.
