Im not trying to do this myself or anything so dont trip about me being so deperate for a High I wouldnt pop Motrins for a high. Ever.

So any way, my roomate swears she gets a high off of Motrin. She never really takes advil or generic so she doesnt know f other ibuprofen products does the same thing. She only takes one Motrin at a time and never takes more than that and says its enough every time.

Apparently it makes her feel warm and fuzzy, puts her in a really good mood and makes laying in bed feel really nice. She compared it to a good marijuana buzz without the munchies or persistent laughing fits.

Shes not one to lie so I am sure this actually gets her high, but I dont understand the mechanism. I know everyones body chemistry is different and she must have an enzyme or something which makes this happen.

If anyone on bluelight has some input or knows how this might work please explain whats going on here.

Enzymes just metabolize the drug having an extra/different one or anything isn't going to metabolize it into a psychoactive compound it's still just going to be ibuprofen like it is for anyone else

^this... And pretty much what others above said.

She's lying or its a placebo effect, those options are supported by fact as possibilities unlike the 'magical extra enzyme' theory ;)

Ibuprofen or specially motrin do not get people high or cause psychoactive effects in any population.

This isn't OD material.
