Get clean or go on methadone

Do not expect to get high on suboxone. I was on it for a while years ago and it never got me high. It barely took away the withdrawals for me which is why I switched to methadone. I'm now on methadone maintenance and it's the only thing that has kept me clean from heroin.

suboxone will get u high the 1st time taking it, depending on opiate tolerance. compared to sublingual effects and intranasal effects, intranasal is a more euphoric type of a buzz, sublingually i just feel the opiate blanket and all the effects with just alot less euphoria then intranasal. expect it too last all day. expect not to get high like u did if u expect that to happen. its apartial agonist, it dosnt really even get u high unless its ur first time doing it, or u got a low opiate tolerance ( i was a heroin addict, went on suboxone and when i tried it, i snorted 2mg and got high as a kite for 12+ hrs)

Methadone WD's are HORRID. I'd rather go the Suboxone route, fuck Methadone. That's just my opinion.

This thread has run for quite a while now - ultimately it is up to you whether suboxone is the right treatment or not, and whether you want to take it as prescribed or not. Snorting has a higher bioavailability than sublingual, so it might get you high, but that's probably not a trap you want to fall into if you are using it as maintenance.. duration of action is pretty much the same.
