33. Sitzung des Sachverständigenausschusses
nach § 1 Abs. 2 des Betäubungsmittelgesetzes (BtMG)
am 22. Juni 2009 um 10.15 Uhr im Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte (BfArM, Bonn)



Der Sachverständigenausschuss hat der Bundesregierung empfohlen, folgende Änderungen bzw. Ergänzungen in den Anlagen I bis III des Betäubungsmittelgesetzes (BtMG) vorzunehmen:

* Aufnahme des folgenden Stoffes in die Anlage I des BtMG:
o Mephedron (4-Methylmethcathinon)

* Aufnahme der folgenden Stoffe in die Anlage II des BtMG:
o CP 47,497 (1)
o CP 47,497-C6-Homologes (1)
o CP 47,497-C8-Homologes (1)
o CP 47,497-C9-Homologes (1)
o JWH-018 (1)
o JWH-019
o JWH-073

* Aufnahme des folgenden Stoffes in die Anlage III des BtMG:
o Tapentadol

(1) Die ersten fünf synthetischen Cannabinoide wurden bereits per Eilverordnung nach § 1 Abs. 3 BtMG mittels der 22. BtMÄndV vom 19.01.2009 für den begrenzten Zeitraum von einem Jahr in die Anlage II des BtMG aufgenommen. Die Empfehlung des Sachverständigenausschusses ermöglicht eine dauerhafte Unterstellung der bezeichneten Substanzen in die Anlage II des BtMG.

Is it just me or does Germany have a really tough drug policy? I remember back in the day they'd give amphetamine-chocolate to pilots like it was candy.
 
@ chloral hydrate: funny thing is in germany we think that the american drug laws are more draconical than our own but if you want a face to the root of all evil: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabine_Baetzing .. i think it's all a matter of perspective
....btw is ist possible to lose your driver's license when caught with weed (without being under the influence)in america? in germany that's possible you have to run a special test called "medizinisch-psychologische untersuchung" (something like an evaluation of your drug use can't really explain because i didn't have to do the test yet^^)
 
Oh no! Sabine Batzing! No but really I could totally imagine that "medizinisch-psychologische untersuchung" seems a lot nicer than anything in america.

The weed thing- they would probably just charge you for possession (first time isn't a felony in california under 1 ounce, just a 100$ misdemeanor) but try to have an open beer in the car and here comes 20 years suspended license.
 
Man, Germany synthesizes all the good drugs, then realizes they're dangerous and bans them. Bayer was originally a German company. Ha, great story, they sold heroin next to aspirin, to treat morphine addiction and alcoholism and fevers and coughing, then, ya know, people died, and became addicted. Ha, oh Germany. Embarrassing for Bayer pharmaceuticals, though.
 
Yeah, but that was some 80 years ago...
It'sjust ridiculous that people lost their driver's licence because of having 1 g of weed in their pocket... even if they don't own (or ever have owned) a car.
It's just a matter of time till they ban products like Charge. Which doesn't really affect me, but kind of strange that the media are taking so long to destroy all the stuff, whereas it is guaranteed that online shops will make a fortune in the period of time between the media start covering the subject and the government banning the stuff. Strange world...
