I'm interested if anyone has any information on geriatric suicide? Additionally depression.
Unfortunately my next door neighbour, whom is which was in his seventies, just a few days ago committed suicide. He was honestly one of the sweetest old men I have ever known and my family and him got rather close since his wife died (from breast cancer) a few years ago! He was struggling with depression for a few months (in and out of hospital, working out his meds, etc.) and I guess it just became too much for him.
I'm after depression and suicide rates in the elderly, demographics, targeted to Australia (if possible).
