While there is a lot of info meth and its risks, much of the info is longer term and addiction related.
I wanted to clarify my assumptions based on research specifically around the immediate dangers of the drug while it is actually in effect, so as to better monitor for immediate health/death/injury related warning signs. This is still a bit unclear to me specifically, so im not talking about long term damage/risks or addiction.
Due to different product quality levels i wont attempt to manage safe dosages through specific dosage volumes beyond basic common sense and previous potency experience and basic dosage info, but rather through actual experienced early warning signs I can identify and action if necessary.
So basically clarify how to monitor for OD level situations that should cause real concern.
This is often very difficult for me with stims as the stimulation, anxiety and paranoia can cause false alarms, fear and unecessary health related paranoia and often reduces the overall experience if your not sure exactly what to worry about and therefore stress about everything and ruin the experience, which is now happing with me due to increased levels of caution around usage.
So:
1. I often hear that amps and coke can be quite safe from small to very high doses in terms of significant immediate physical harm and risk of death directly, without first manifesting other major indicators first, like siezures. Is this true for most normal healthy users without health issues that would increase their risks?
2. Is it factual that a siezure is usually the first sign of an OD or dose level that would require medical assistance or genuine safety concerns, stopping usage etc?
3. Or are there any other any other symptoms that can indicate immediate risk and therefore recommed medical assistance of some kind or at least stopping any increase in dosage? Pehaps clearly noticable pre-siezure warning signs that are obvious? There are so many paranoia/enxiety related "symptoms" that can feel serious but are in fact normal and not a concern and can be managed if you know exactly what to watch out for.
What I really want to know as specificaly as possible is how to identify a genuine issue/od situation during your experience, subjectively, without any vitals monitoring equipment etc, hopefully before any permanent damage is caused. So any specific symptom that is experienced and should be reasonably noticable enough to rely on for properly monitoring the experience for genuine risks.
Here are some symtoms that stress me out, i would like to know the danger level of each of these and if they are real concerns in terms of short term damage/toxicity or if they are just your typical meth symptoms that should not cause concerns over OD possibility or short term health issues.
1. Heart. This causes me the greatest anxiety and heartrate always increases for me from the start, but is there a risk of a high dose or OD causing heart related damage or death specifically, or will some other major OD symptom usually always occur before serious heart related risks become a real concern. I worry about heart and cardio related issues the most due to being very unfit and overweight with a mostly sedentary lifestyle. Docs say heart and related systems are healthy though.
2. Toxicity. I dont think toxicity or poisoning is usually a risk with amps and other big issues would mainfest with OD's first, correct?
4. Brain. I think most major OD symptoms and risk of damage/death occur on this level usually resulting in short term brain related OD symptoms correct? Like the siezures.
5. Heavy vasoconstriction, blue hands and feet, icy skin etc. Have experienced this many times but as I understand its not a risk of immediate harm or death, beyond the strain it might place on the heart and blood pressure. Or is there a significant risk of a stroke or something else related to this.
6. I have often experienced concerning "convultions" on the comedown after a high dose multi day binge. The best word to describe might be convulsions or jerking limbs, uncontrollable body movements. For example i would twitch and convulse in bed while asleep and passed out on alcohol, without even realizing.
Other times when awake it would cause inaccurate body movements and flailing arms type situation. Im not talking tremors or shaking but actual whole limb/body level movement issues and control. Seems like major muscles are receiving random movement orders from the brain and actual movement orders are more inaccurate or corrupted in some way, I dont think this is what a siezure is however is that is usually shorter or has a mental or unconcious related effect as well? What I am describing seems physical only with no related mental effect besides the usual anxiety etc. Any idea what would cause this?
5. As an example, if you where to barely survive a meth OD, what specific significant permanent damage might have resulted from this?
6. What are the most common exact "causes of death" for immediate amphetamine/meth OD related deaths and/or immediate significant permanent damage/disabilities?
Edit: Also what is alcohols interaction with meth. It does seem to enhance effects slightly and help with overstim, anxiety and comedown. Also I have noticed that when used when and heavy SNS stimulation that may be unpleasant at vasoc and goosflesh levels, it seems to interact strongly with that type of situation greatly increasing the euphoria again which would have been lost at that point. Some kind of epinephrine/alcohol interaction?
Thanks!
