Generic vs real oxycodone

Hello, my friend has cancer and they prescribed 30mg oxycodone she is complaining that the new rx is not hitting the pain. They are
generic, blue round numbers and a division sign-long line. is there really a difference in the real pill. The pharmacist told us they were generic.

They should be exactly the same. The brand name (Roxicodone) is rarely used and now sold by Mallincrodkt, which is a generic company primarily.
