Hey BLers, sorry for starting a new thread but I couldn't find the right spot so if it isn't can a mod please repost this in the right thread, I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Basically I'm trying to get info on the generic opanas that came out pretty recently, made by Global Pharmaceuticals I believe. I can get some of the 40mg orange G74 ones but they're pricey and I'm not looking to waste any hard earned money right now. I got one to test and are easily crushed and snorted but I'm looking for information on harm reduction for IV use. I've been trying to search the opana threads for info on them and read they are using the old formulations. I think I only ever got the 2nd gen opanas for IV use that looked like orange stop signs. It's been a year or two ago (or more?) and I might be forgetting a step or two but I remember just getting those opanas, crushing them up, using some 90% ISO, let it sit for a bit, then evaporating the ISO off the cooker. I'd then be left with a film on the cooker which I could just add water to and prep like a normal shot. I can't remember if I had to scrap away gel or goo onto another spoon or if it would all dissolve in the ISO.

So I was thinking that these new generic OPs could just be IVd with water, maybe some heat, and a filter. I took a small piece of my 40mg and tried to do that but it instantly started geling. I got kind of angry thinking I was just going to be able to do an easy prep but ended up just adding lots of water and boiling and separating the goo/gel as much as I could. I didn't have micron filters and the consistency of the shot didn't look too safe but I was sick and able to get some effect from it.

Basically what I'm hoping is that someone can help me on their experience IVing the new generics that are out right now/ or redirect me to the thread where this has already been discussed probably a dozen times (sorry). Since I have a limited supply and just adding water and heat didn't seem to be the most effective/safest method I'm wondering if I should be doing the ISO method and if so am I missing a step in there? I'm not sure if I can get PMs yet even though I've been a member for a couple years, but if someone could point me/redirect this post to the right thread/page/link whatever I'd really appreciate it. This is definitely in the vein (bad pun) of harm reduction and I don't want to put a bunch of gel in my arm if there is a better alternative.
thanks for information,

dont heat them! never heat stuff, most drugs (that people iv at least) are highly water soluble even in cold water. no matter what you do micron filter your pills, the time release and anti abuse measures cant be easy on the veins. Id imagine that you would need a similar process for the generics, they arent just gonna be making pills that are prime for abuse, oc, and the media kinda killed that

Well with the other kind I would add a unit of 90% ISO, let it dissolve, suck it up through a filter, put it in a separate spoon and then evaporate the alcohol leaving a thing film which was then water soluble and ready to IV use. I had heard erroneously that these were water soluble and wouldn't gel so I tried some and only heated it a ton after I realized I wasted part of what I had. Does anyone know if this ISO method will work on these new generics? thanks, trying to find out by morning.

Dont shoot the globals. It gives you a blood clotting disorder. I shot it once and I felt horrid. After the intial rush I felt awful and I was high as fuck on alot of oxy and opana and morphine. I got the bright idea to shoot something that had only been out a day and well it was unpleasant. By unpleasant I mean I thought about going to the hospital.

huh, Since I posted I've shot them a few times now using the ISO method with no ill effects (that I've noticed so far of course) except extreme euphoria. Did you just use water or do the 90% ISO propyl extraction? After extraction and filtering, its been coming up as the same consistency as water, and just as clear. Definitely the "clearest" "cleaning" looking pill shot I've ever done (put in quotations because obviously . They seem to work just like the original opanas, anything in here that is different from the old ones? I used those all the time a few years ago with no none health consequences.

Does anyone else have info on why the Global generic Opanas would be different than the old school kind as far as ingredients/clotting issues? I had thought they were basically the same formulation as the originals. Anybody that has info on these Global Pharmaceutical generic Opanas, specifically G74s that would be relevant for harm reduction would be greatly appreciated. thanks

heres the link to the newest opana thread ive seen.

Just read that you already looked through the opana thread. My bad. Other then the links I have nothing to contribute cuz I've never had the luxury of trying opana. :( I guess those links are better then nothing

Yeah I appreciate the response and thanks for the links. The first link I've read extensively but the most recent posts are about the reformulated opanas with the crazy timex bonders and those opanas turn to almost a gum when you try to just cut them so I wouldn't even think about trying to boot those.. The old opana thread might be useful but what I was mainly wanting to know is about the new Global Pharmaceuticals generic opanas that came out fairly recently, but I haven't been able to find much on them. I thought they were basically the same formula as the older opanas that you could IV by using the ISO propyl method. Dopemaster and someone else posted above about not injecting the generics because they'll lead to serious blood clot, and DM said they made him sick. But I think the other poster might have been referring to the reformulated timex kind? Again, if anyone has any more info about these new generics that would be really helpful if they carry more risk than the older (original?) opanas.

Dopemaster: Did you just use water to try and shoot the opanas or the ISO propyl method, also are you sure it wasn't something like cotton fever or a mixture of all the other drugs you had taken that night? Like I said I've been having "success" using the ISO method after first making a mistake of trying to use just water b/c I listened to a dumba$$ about their solubility.
thanks for any responses or info.

I didnt use ISO. I added water and cooked em. It was probly dumb. They are ok for sniffing in terms of a good high. I have no clue about the health effects. But when I cooked em I was able to get a rig full. It was just like cooking a morphine, but it felt awful right after the rush, so im guessing I got some undersirable chemicals in me along with the oxymorphone. I didnt read the ingredients list. It was a global. It was a green G 76. Im not sure if thats the exact number as it was a couple months ago, but I remember my hookup saying they were globals as well. They sure are better to sniff the gellies by endo. I personally liked the octagons in terms of sniffing the best. The red IRs were the only ones I ever enjoyed injecting. I got in trouble for saying I liked it so Im keeping this as a matter of fact. I have no idea how bad this stuff is for your health. I have read awful shit about opana ers both sniffing and injecting. I personally had a terrible experience trying to cook the dope out the newest globals. As far as the Gellies prep always involved a blowtorch and Ice water. It seemed to work ok, but I ended up with a bit of a head ache at the end. I also got cellutlits eventually and a nurse at the ER straight up asked me if I was injecting opana and I said nope. She went on to tell me opana had celulose and that causes cellulitis. So after that I never shot a gelly or OP again. As far as how bad it was the doctor said I had a 50/50 chance on keeping my arm. So I suggest you do your homework with opana. Its a strong medication undeniably but fucking around with tamper resistant shit can be nasty.

Well the new generic opanas aren't really that tamper resistant. Using a ISO extraction and then boiling that off you are left with a very thin film on your cooker which will look deceivingly small but is very potent. After that you can just add water stir and filter. It comes out looking almost completely clear. I'm thinking (correct me if I'm wrong) that using the ISO, filtering the ISO out, then boiling the ISO, and then just injecting the small amount of film left on your cooker that there is very little inactive ingredients. Does anyone know if the cellulose or any potential longterm causing health concerns might be from the inactive ingredients that are left after filtering, evaping alcohol and then filtering again? Obviously I'm not interested in standard IV health concerns just any specific to the new generic opanas prepared in this way, thanks

I still IV but I dont fuck with anything with cellulose in it. If you have had cellutlitis once, you wont wanna risk it again. My skin was ripping open at my track marks. Once my tracks started ripping open this nasty stuff started to drain and I squeezed it out like toothpaste. It felt oddly orgasmic. The stuff was disgusting. I called the nurse and said that it broke open and drained and she said "no it did not just break open on its own, I watched you drain that on the camera in your room, man was that nasty, you must have really wanted the pressure relieved."
