Hi everyone,
I live in south-east Michigan, where I attend university. My interest in substances began when I started regularly using cannabis last year. Since then, I've taken a great interest in psychedelics. I've taken LSD 4 times and mushrooms twice. I've also experimented with Adderall and kratom. I study international politics and philosophy, and I've found that experimentation with psychoactive substances to complements my studies. I focus on political theory, philosophy of mind, and East Asian philosophy, particularly Buddhist and early Taoist literature.
Although my main interest is in psychoactive substances, I find the physiological changes brought on by other drugs (such as alcohol, caffeine, or speed) to also be valuable from a psychonautic perspective. Because of this, I plan to experiment with a wide variety of substances in the future. My current interests are trying DMT and experimenting with larger doses of LSD. I've also begun exploring drug-free ways of consciousness-investigation, like meditation and sensory deprivation tanks.
Outside of drugs and philosophy, I enjoy playing the piano, gardening, and spending time with my partner and our cat. I look forward to getting to know everyone and to learning from the community here!
