Ok so first off I want to say hi to all fellow bluelighters! Ok so to the point. I was in a motorcycle crash in august 2011, spent 3 weeks in the hospital broke both legs and developed compartment syndrome in left leg which resulted in me having a faciatomy. I have rods and pins in both legs. I did weeks of pt and still to this day in extreme pain and can hardly walk with out pain. I went to my primary care physician andwas refered to a pain management/physiologist aprn. So I was rx oxycodone 10/325 1 every 4 hours. This was this past november . I have been going to the same cvs. They first gave me the watson brand which worked great. Now from what I understand Actavist bought out watson or they merged or something now cvs only carrys actavis oxycodone 10/325 (a333) tabs. Last month I ran out early and cvs would not fill my script because I was 4 days early. That their rule or the insurance I have? Anyway I took it cross state border and payed out of pocket at another pharmacy. No problem, but I payed a shit ton of money beczuse I couldn't wait 4 days for cvs. Anyway I filled my script and got my percs but they were a different brand... Amneal oxycodone 10/335 . I felt pain relief and a warm buzz with 1 and a half pills. Those Amneal brands hit harder. This month I got my normsl script and went to my regular cvs and filled it , back to the actavis a333'S AND I tell you they ferl like vic 5's!!!!! I did research snd found that there were tons of complaints agsinst actavis regarding the a333'S,! So I got to go a month with these garbage junk pill's! Next month I will change my pharmacy. Has anyone else gone through this in anyway? Thoughts?

Sorry, it is against the terms of use of this site to discussion brand names vs. generics vs. different brands. Sorry that your pills aren't working for you...your best bet is to talk to your pharmacist about switching to a different brand name/generic but there's nothing we can really do.

I'm going to close this thread. PM me if you have any questions.
