All drugs listed are prescribed and used for intended purspose however on occasion I like to "play" a bit.

Ok so my Dr. just switched me out from Valium to Klonopin. I am also taking Vikes and Neurotin. Now I have learned the effect of the Valium plus the vikes but I don't know the effect of the Klonopin and Vikes, would it be similar? Oh and we are talking what I presume are lightweight doses. Vikes are 5/500 and Klonopin is .5

I know you have to be careful mixing opiates and benzos but I have been mixing the valium and vikes for about a year. I would keep it down to 5mg valium and 1-2 vikes. So any advice or experiance with the Klonopin vs. the Valium would be apreciated.
 
Klonopin will last longer and will probably feel 'differen't to what valium did.

If you use the search engine you should find lots of stuff about this, people talking about using the combo etc...

Yeah you gots to be careful but you are using low dosages so you will be cool.
 
Yes it would be similar. Myself, I tend to like Klonopin better than Valium. When you mentioned that you know to be careful when mixing opiates and benzos, you are right on point. You can die very, very easily. Somebody I know who was never a drug-using type of person had his wisdom teeth pulled and was Rx'd Norco. He was also on Klonopin for his anxiety. Well he was found dead in his bands' RV when they were traveling. just be careful and never over-do it :]
 
I like diazepam more than clonazepam, but see what you think between the two.

The combination with opiates should be about the same for each, if the effects of each benzo by themselves are about the same for you.

I have found a nice relaxing level for me is 1 vike and 2 hrs. later 1 vike an 5mg of valium.

I will try the 1 vike and 2 hrs. later 1 vike and .5 klonopin tomorrow.

I tried a klonopin by it's self last night and I felt mellow but a bit more energetic than on the valium. However just as sleepy if I quit moving.

The vikes do a good job of getting rid of the sleepiness in me I have found thats part of the reason I like the mix. It's more of a level energy wise which for me which is a big deal as I deal with fatigue on a regular basis in part due to the whole reason I am perscribed all the drugs.8) I try and stay away from anything that just knocks me out because of it. Makes experimenting for fun and disease managment interesting.

^ I find some opioids to be kinda energizing as well, but I am an addict so maybe that's why I don't know. I also don't like just being knocked out.
