Welcome to the General Psychedelic Discussion Thread! Version 1. Here is the place for all your psychedelic needs, talk about your favourite set & settings, favourite substances, all the best music and most importantly your tips and tricks to having a good trip and other psychedelic harm reduction. Eventually I am hoping I will be able to come back here and edit this first post with a lot of important updates. I think we will allow dissociatives as well even though they aren't true psychedelics but keep in mind the fifth link I have posted. Any thing I should add is much appreciated.

Second LSD RELATED DISCUSSION GOES HERE. This doesn't mean you can't talk about LSD here just keep the LSD specific stuff over there.

hmmm psychedelic discussion thread wooohoooo!!!!!

when was the last time i tripped hmm. tahts right, i had 2.8grams of mushys with lemon juice for breakfast, literally breakfast about 2-3weeks ago. This was accompanyd by 6boxes of nangs :)

it was fun. first 2-3hrs. then i got really really sick. have never felt this sick off mushys, yes the occasional vomit. but this was like 1hr+ of my feeling really sick/purging. I was purging that loud that my neighbour actually came knock on my door and asked if i was ok <3 Very nice neighbour!.


I think i'm not gonna do mushys for a while. or maybe not do it on a empty stomache next time.

I'll kick start the discussion with something lighter. I would ask what your preparations/tips are on how to avoid bad trips but I find not talking about bad trips is one of the best ways ;).

So what's your favourite psychedelic besides LSD? Don't say something boring ;p. And since dissociatives are allowed whats your favourite dissociative?

My favourite psych would have to be 2C-E at the moment but I have recently tried 4-AcO-DMT and 4-HO-MET and I think the 4-substitued tryptamines could hold something wonderful. Besides the come up of 4-HO-MET they are the most anxiolytic trips I have ever had besides DOC. Dissociative would have to be MXE but I think if K came back into my life it could give it a run for its money.

P.S I will do the stimulant thread tomorrow, it's gotten a lot later than I expected.

Weird that the empty stomach made it worse for you, a lot of people recommend an empty stomach to avoid nausea. I know it definitely helps for me.
 
I'm definitely enjoying some of the more novel RCs psychedelics lately. 25C-NBOME especially, I find it to be as emotionally stimulating and introspective as a LSD trip but lacking in anxiety or the 'mind fucks' that you'd get on LSD. Visually amazing as well, on a high dose of 800 ug I was able to see through trees and focused all my vision on the moon. The night sky's texture simply painted over the silhouettes of the trees. Very vivid geometrical patterns and morphing/breathing as well. I didn't really notice any change in colour however.

I've had plenty of experience with DXM when I was younger. Blessed with being unable to get the nausea from the robitussin syrup, I was able to get up to doses as high as 1400 mg. Those experiences were interesting to say the least, but I haven't had ketamine nor MXE to compare with yet. Hopefully I'll come across some in the future. The strangest fourth plateau trip was me conversing with some entity with cthulhu's face placed on one of those 4chan anonymous suits. He spoke mostly gibberish.
 
That is a very good summary of 25C-nBOME, also one of my favourite psychedelics so far. There are so many good ones! I love mixing Phens and Tryptamines, there is something so synergizing and special about it. Some day I think I am gonna mix all my favourites together and have a helluva trip. It will take years of preperation, an excellent trip sitter and probably a decent dose of benzos first though.
 
I have never had a benzo ruin or kill a trip, some of my best trips have been on benzos as well.

They reduce my anxiety levels to that of what a normal persons would be during the trip so I can fully enjoy the psychedelic, otherwise a lot of my experiences these days aren't overly nice, especially with some of the more anxiogenic compounds. I also find that with benzos on the peak I won't lose much of my memory, benzos on the tail end of a trip will wipe the experience clean from my memory.
Has any one ever had a benzo stop a trip? Like actually stop it? I would find this hard to believe with a decent dose of psychedelics. I have tried eating benzos by the handful to kill even a 20mg 2C-B trip and I didn't get close.

I really need to try more of 25C-nBOME, I have heard predictions that 25D will take its place. So many psychs, so little time. I will be trying out 4-AcO-DMT again this weekend, with a decent dose
 
25C-NBOME is very excellent, I can't speak ill of it. I'll have to check out 25D, what are the general differences? Fucking oath, too many psychs not enough time haha. I dig 25C-NBOME's tolerance build up, I've used it 3 days in a row with no difference in strength.
 
Weird I've read reports of it being like DOx and having to wait 2 weeks for tolerance to drop.

25D, is deeper and more akin to a true psychedelic. I haven't used it personally yet. I'll probably get to it before I try 25C again, trying new psychs is my favourite past time!
 
For me there is only one true phsychedelic and that is DMT. Nothing else compares IMHO. I've had AAAAA grade acid, mescaline, lots of mushrooms..ketamine ..salvia...but to me they are all rubbish now. I love DMT, i feel invigorated after taking it.. it has had a profound effect on my life to say the least and for the better. It is a sacred substance IMHO. I have no time for the new chems appearing...too many unknowns and why bother...DMT crystal is the door to the spirit world
 
im in love with the sweet sweet golden smell of that lovely yellow dmt crystal mmmmmmmmmmm.....

Never had benzo's actually stop a trip, but 3 xanax bars sure had me wanting some nore acid and basically turned the trips volume right fuckin down.

I too often take a very mild dose sometimes before a trip but we are talkin 5mg Valium, like Jakeperson said I think this is giving me the mindset of someone who a better general day to day anxiety levels and helps me trip better.

I also trip with vodka (but daily drinker anyways) and I drink much slower than normal and is basically a shot every 1-2 hours to keep me on an even keel throughout experience.

Fave dissociate is KKKKKKKKKKKKKK. That shit opened my mind to a whole new view/level after 10 years of previous LSD/mushy use, and I will always love to K hole myself into oblivion and have a pschedelic orgasm at the brink.
 
Id have to say that acid + dmt on the peak is prob the best combo I have tried. Shrooms and poppers / nitrous is awesome too. Havnt been into the RC scene for a while but I do have a few substances Id like to try but nothing will ever beat LSD, a true psychedelic that one is:)

Never tried that combo but wouldnt u drop the ballon or whatever before u could even inhale it? LOL I tend to drop everything almost instantly every time I do DMT lol
 
I would like to some 2c-X compounds were about, i had quite few lose dose trips on it before but nothing in a few years and that was long b4 i tried lsd. I use to have a mate who tested pills who would frequently get those 2 c compounds in pills. nom nom nom
