I started reading that book. It's pretty short so I'll get through it fast. But so far it's great. Def gonna check out the movie after.
Good. And I promise no more 25th Hour updates unless someone else brings it up.

As far as vagina veins go...They're shallow and very difficult to see...bluish...unless you really look, they're pretty much invisible! Pussy to me is nothing special...Over half the population has one! I don't let it run my life...
What's everyone's opinion on people who announce on Facebook (etc) they're amount of days clean. I can understand if it's for something significant like year anniversaries and shit cause you definitely deserve some recognition for that, but I don't feel like Facebook is necessarily the right place to announce that type of shit. I'm constantly seeing attention whores posting like '30 days clean, so greatful' and its clear that a good amount of those people are just doing it for the likes and comments.
And it's always the same people who you've seen relapse many times after these type of announcements. Like deep down you know they're gonna do it again unless they've truly made some changes in their lives.
Like I said, I understand in some cases it's appropriate, but a lot of the time I feel like it should be between close friends, family and others in recovery.
What do you all think?
I don't even have a Facebook. I think the whole thing in general is stupid, but that's a whole nother topic. Unless used for business, music, or art, shit like that. Then it can be a useful brand awareness and marketing tool.

Not to be a dick, but ohshea by that logic you are the exact person you are complaining about.
Ha..... Yeah, barely use Facebook. I actually have a fake account setup under somebody else. I use another birth date but it is somebody's pictures and name changed slightly. I use it to talk to people on anonymous forum sites. I know it's kinda fawked but it has helped with networking and carrying on conversations with those I don't know. I think I have actually used it to talk to somebody on this site. I am kinda paranoid of anybody ever finding out information about me from the internet.
25th hour is such a great movie! The ending really ripped my heart out the first time I saw it.
On a related note I just got done spending a day in the city jail. Got way to doped up in public and ended up getting popped for misdiminor (sp?) paraphenailia. Which was an unused needle. I was way to fucking high kinda emberassing honestly. I was lucky my parents bailed me out. It was only a thousand dollar bond but I got like no money so I would have sat there until god knows when. It wasn't the worst experience but it wasn't the most fun either. I did avoid kicking in there don't think that would have been fun.
