General Drugs With Common-Effects Comparision Thread

I was like going to start a thread where people can compare drugs with common effects such as MDMA vs MDA (if thats allowed outside ecstasy discussion..?),
or like, LSD vs LSA, Methamphetamine (street) vs Desoxyn Pill. etc. etc.
How were the effects different, how were they similar.
Which one you like more. etc.

ummm, I guess I'll start it off with a very common comparison because I am on one of them right now.


Dexedrine (Dextroamphetamine) vs Adderall (Amphetamine Salts) = Amphetamine Salts Ingredients:
Amphetamine Aspartate Monohydrate
Dextroamphetamine Sulfate USP
Amphetamine Sulfate USP
Dextroamphetamine Saccharate
(Which one is Levoamphetamine..o : ?)

O.K., well I'm prescribed 70mg of dexedrine a day so I have a high tolerance. But I've had extended periods of time using both drugs as prescribed.
Dexedrine, to be honest to me is just my anti-depressant. I'm not gonna lie-while I do prefer Dex, Adderall is much better for focus. But I think dexedrine is better for creativity and I love writing poems, and lyrics to songs while I'm on dex.
It to me, is that mental soothing feeling you get from adderall, while adderall has this boost of focusness. To be honest I hated that feeling. Really anxious, paranoid, snappy. I hated being around people stuff like that. Its probably the NE boost adderall gives.
But I actually do believe that Adderall is a better drug all around for ADHD. Just because it makes you want to focus, clean, etc. because it effects your Norepinephrine which controls motivation, so I think being on adderall, you'd get along done. You would just probably be a complete sociopath lol. Makes you pretty anxious around people IME.

I can't judge which drug is better because I believe they're both better for different things.
Adderall's good for someone really serious about school and getting work done or clean. A positive, is the body high which dexedrine doesn't have.
Dexedrines good as an anti-deppressant. It really makes me feel...like I wanna do something. Like when I'm on it I want to talk to somebody, make music, see whats on netflix (only problem is, to be honest, I can't sit down and just watch a t.v. show while on dexedrine for shit lol). Positive is its a lot better to do around/with people and less anxiety. Also Less physical symptoms.

What harm reduction value would this thread serve? It is interesting in concept but I'm having a bit of trouble seeing how it fits into one thread. Comparing multiple drugs in one thread is not only going to get very confusing but it is not going to really serve any purpose because different drugs do different things to different people. We don't really encourage "drug a vs. drug b" threads either and I can certainly see this turning into that sort of thread - especially since you're asking people which drug they like more which is entirely subjective. Have you checked out Drug Culture? That's where these social type discussions really belong.
